Chapter -3

Ning Xinyi calmed down after crying for some time. She wiped her eyes and tears on her face, and then calmed herself, and carefully analysed her whole situation.

She is not married yet, and things have not gotten much worse for her, than it is now, at present.

She knows her family does not care for her, but she never understood before, why did they hate her and never cared for her.

She always did all the work, whether it was household work or outdoor work, like cleaning the house, washing the clothes, cooking the food, doing her sister's and brother's work, every possible thing, including working in fields, which generally males do in this village, while females generally take care of household work.

She was never treated with love and care by her parents, not even a little bit. All of their love and care for her brother and sister.

Like today only, she was sent to do all the work in heavy rainfall, but her sister was in the home, relaxing, despite the emergency situation.

Her father and brother, both were wearing raincoats and other clothes, to protect themselves from the heavy and cold rainfall, but there was nothing for her, to protect herself.

Even after entering home, no one cared for her, no one cared if she fell ill, no one cared if she had eaten her fill, no one cared about her.

The only thing they care about is, and want from her is doing all their work, no matter what it is, either big or small, heavy or light task, everything had to be done by her and carried by her.

Her whole day passes in doing work. She gets up early in the morning, before everyone and cleans the house and makes breakfast for everyone.

She only gets to eat a little, and then she has to make preparations for lunch, and then go to the field with her father and help him there and do all the work.

Her mother makes lunch, and brings it to them in the field, and she barely fills her stomach with the quantity she receives.

Her sister stays at home, and the whole day does nothing, except to relax and to get spoiled by her family, and has become more arrogant.

Her brother is studying, so that he can go to the countryside. Only a few children are studying in the village, who would later move to the countryside, so her parents are very proud of him, making her brother, arrogant, proud and disrespectful.

He only cares about him, and is always living in dreams that he is the best, he can earn so much money later, he would go to the countryside, no one can compare to him.

After coming home, from the whole day working in the fields, her father gets to rest, but she has to then make dinner for the whole family, and wash clothes of the whole family.

Her sister does not work. Her mother, only makes lunch, and brings it for them in the field, whose most of the preparation is done by her already.

Despite doing all this, she still has to listen to her mother's harsh words that she does no work, and she has to make lunch and bring it to the field for her in the sun.
