Slowly the pain became bearable, so she got up and looked around, and when she realised that she was back in her old room, from which she had been thrown out many years ago, she was shocked and stupefied, and just sat there looking around with an agape mouth.

She did not understand what was happening, and how come she is here, because the last thing she remembered was destroying that crazy bastard's things and experiments and many of which, she either injected inside her body or straight way gulped down, causing immense pain in her body.

She had then burnt down her body, in front of all those people and jumped down the cliff, so that they could not extract those things back from her body, or even get a drop from her body, and make those poisonous and harmful things again, that can destroy everything, all living beings and the whole universe.

She did not have enough time to think about her condition, and what was she doing here because her door was suddenly pushed open, and in came her so called mother, who was roaring at her.

"What are you doing here, you little *****?"

"Do you think that you are some queen?"

"What do you think, you are doing, sitting here, and not doing any work."

"Can't you see that it is raining heavily."

"Hurry up and get up and go help your father and brother in the field in protecting the crops."

Saying this, she yanked her harshly by her arms, and pushed her out of the house, in the heavy rainfall, without any raincoat or any other thing to protect herself.

She was still in a daze because of all the events, one moment she was dying and the other moment, she was back in her old, cramped room, where she had lived before marriage, so Ning Xinyi's brain was not functioning properly.

She subconsciously followed her mother's words, and helped her father and brother in protecting the crops, by covering them with a shed, and making small tunnels on the field, so that excess water can flow out.

They also covered their silos with an extra shed, and added layers of mud around it, so that the water cannot enter there, and spoil their stored grains.

After doing all this, they went to their home. After entering the house, Ning Xinyi went back to her room, and locked her door, ignoring everyone.

After entering inside, she hurriedly changed her cold and wet clothes, to avoid getting a cold and fever.

She then sat on the floor and took a deep breath to calm herself and to calm her fast beating heart.

She realised that she had come back in time, meaning she had been reborn, meaning she can change her destiny, meaning she does not have to die and would also not get manipulated by anyone, anymore.

Slowly tears started streaming down her face. It contained all her pain, grief, frustration, anger, regrets, she had suffered in her previous life, as well as happiness, joy, gratitude, of having a second chance to improve her life, and to fulfill all of her previous regrets.
