00:22 Somewhere in the Badlands.
Iris: Iris requesting Evac.
Chiyo: (over the coms) Iris is that you?
Iris: Yeah it's me. Can you just please get me out of here?
Chiyo: (over the coms) Okay we're on our way.
As Iris stands waiting in the cold she lights up a cigarette.
Iris: (To herself) How did this go wrong? I can't believe it.
Finally Chiyo and Evac sqaud arrive at Iris' location.
Chiyo: Iris what's wrong?
Iris: (Coldly) Can't you see Chiyo? I'm the only one left. I lost everyone on this mission.
Chiyo: (Shocked) Oh no! How'd this happen?
Iris: Let's just get out of here I'll report everything later.
Chiyo: (nodding) Alright, we'll get you out of here first. We can discuss the details later.
As they boarded the evac craft, Chiyo couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness and loss. She knew how close Iris was to her team, and how much they meant to her. Losing them must have been incredibly difficult.
Chiyo: (sympathetically) Iris, I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a team is never easy.
Iris: (shaking her head) It's alright, Chiyo. We knew the risks going in. And besides, they all died doing what they loved, fighting for what they believed in.
Chiyo: (nodding) That's true. But still, it's never easy to lose those we care about.
Iris: (smiling weakly) I'll be alright, Chiyo. I'll have to pick up the pieces and move forward, but I know that I can do it.
Chiyo: (supportively) Of course you can, Iris. You're one of the strongest people I know. And you have us to lean on, whenever you need it.
Iris: (nodding) Thank you, Chiyo. I appreciate that.
As they flew off into the night, the team knew that they had another difficult journey ahead of them. But they also knew that together, they could overcome any obstacle and triumph over any challenge. For they were a team, bound together by trust, courage, and a shared sense of purpose. And no matter what the future held, they were ready to face it together, as one.
Later that night at Iris's apartment.
Vauban: (in Iris's head) Hey Iris sorry about the others. Fear not for I am still with you in spirit.
Iris: (talking to Vauban) Hey V I'm glad to hear your not completely gone.
Vauban: (In Iris's head) Thanks Iris. Iris listen you've unlocked a new ability know as "alter ego" this allows you to shapeshift into me. You'll also be able to shapeshift back any time you choose.
Iris: Wow that's useful. Thanks for informing me Vauban.
Vauban: (in Iris's head) No problem, Iris. With this new ability, you'll be able to access my skills and knowledge, and use them to your advantage. However, be careful not to overuse it, as it can be mentally taxing.
Iris: (nodding) I understand. I'll be sure to use it wisely.
Vauban: (in Iris's head) Good. Together, we'll be more powerful than ever. And we'll be able to face any challenge that comes our way.
Iris: (smiling) Absolutely. I'm ready for whatever the future holds, with you by my side.
As Iris settled into bed, she couldn't help but feel a renewed sense of purpose and determination. For with her new abilities, and her team at her side, she knew that she could accomplish anything. And no matter what the world threw at her, she was ready to face it head-on, with courage, strength, and the knowledge that she was not alone.
