Ep.4: Final Showdown

02:23 Declan's office.

Declan: (serious) Listen up Iris the only way to take down Vauban is to use your abilities to absorb him since he can't be killed. I understand it's a lot to take in but someone has to do this.

Iris: (determined) I understand Declan I'll do my best.

Declan: Good luck Iris we're counting on you.

Iris heads to the location of the final showdown.

Upon arriving at the location, Iris surveyed the area, noting the presence of Vauban's army and their advanced weaponry.

Iris: (nervously) It's a lot of them.

Declan: (through comm) You can do it Iris, remember your training.

Iris took a deep breath, channeling her powers as she stepped forward to face Vauban. As she approached him, she felt his energy surge towards her, threatening to overwhelm her.

Vauban: (smirking) You think you can defeat me with your powers, little girl? I am a god among men, and you are nothing.

Iris: (firmly) I may not be as powerful as you, Vauban, but I stand with those who fight for freedom and justice.

Iris: (breathless) I did it.

Declan: (through comm) You did it, Iris! You absorbed Vauban!

Iris: (grinning) Thanks, Declan. I couldn't have done it without your guidance and the support of the team.

Iris: I'm Okay I guess I'm just dizzy.

Nova: (pointing at Iris' left eye) Iris your left eye it's red.

Declan: That would be the side effects of absorbing Vauban. Team I present to you the strongest member of HSI. She has all the powers Vauban had and the ones she already had.

Aki: That means she also has Minakami's ability since Vauban took it when he killed him.

Declan: Correct.

Iris: (surprised) I have Minakami's ability too? That's incredible!

Haruka: (concerned) But what about the side effects? Is it dangerous?

Declan: (assuringly) Don't worry, Haruka. Iris will need some time to adjust to the new powers, but she'll be fine. We'll monitor her closely and make sure she gets the best care.

Iris: (determined) I'll do my best to control my powers and use them for good.

Nova: (smiling) We know you will, Iris. You're a true hero.

Aki: (smiling) And now we've got an even stronger team.

As the team celebrated their victory and the newfound strength of their team, Iris couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. Iris: (gritting her teeth) Get out of my head, Vauban! I won't let you take control!

Vauban: (tauntingly) Oh, but don't you see? I am already in control. You could never hope to match my power, and now, you are at my mercy.

Iris: (resolutely) No! I won't let you win! I won't let you use me for evil!

With a surge of energy, Iris concentrated all of her willpower, pushing Vauban out of her mind. Though she knew he would always be a part of her, she refused to be controlled by him.

Iris: (breathless) I… I did it.

Haruka: (concerned) Iris, are you okay?

Iris: (nodding) Yeah, I'm fine. Just… a little shaken up.

As the team gathered around her, Iris knew that she would always have to be vigilant. With Vauban a part of her consciousness, she would constantly be tempted by his dark power. But she also knew that she had the strength and determination to resist him, and that with the support of her friends, she would never give in to evil. Vauban: (in Iris head) Fine then I won't try to turn you. You have my word but I'll always be here. You'll see me but the others won't. Just don't talk out loud people will think your crazy. I can hear you just fine without you having to say a word.

Iris: (resolute) I know you'll always be a part of me, Vauban, but I won't let you control me. And I won't let you use me for your own purposes.

Vauban: (smirking) We'll see, my dear. We'll see.

As the team continued their fight for justice and freedom, Iris couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. With Vauban a constant presence in her mind, she knew that she would always be vulnerable to his influence. Iris: (nodding) Okay. I'll listen.
