The next day, Ria came back to the palace.

Ria met Lucy after she reached palace, where they were having conversation:

Ria, did your mother say anything about Bella?

No, I said she was fine and need not worry.

Ahh.. okay!

Then suddenly after the conversation

Lucy said to Ria "Ria, I forgot to tell you!"

"what?" Ria asked

Lucy replied "I forgot to tell you that I got a letter for my grandmother"

Ria said "oh really? You must have been so happy "

Lucy answered "I know it's a happy thing for me, but it's not about that"

Ria was confused and asked, "can you come straight to the point!?

Lucy replied, "I am going to my grandmother's home for some days, so I may not be here"

Just then Ria looked at Lucy and said "Isn't it a good thing though? You will be spending time with her!"

Lucy suddenly hit Ria's head and said "you stupid! I am feeling sorry for our appointment!"

Ria exclaimed "huh!?"

Lucy said "did you forget!? we promised each other that we will go to temple!"

Ria who was lost in thoughts, about what happened yesterday said, "Ahh... how could I forget!"

Lucy said, "didn't u just say ah?" with doubtful eyes

Ria changed the topic to "Lucy, don't care about our appointment, just enjoy your time with your grandmother, we can set the date again later"

Lucy said "okay! I will, but you really sounded serious back then, so I was a bit

concerned"

Ria smiled and said, "no, it was nothing and you, Don't be concerned about me"

After some couple of hours ,lucy departed.

After Lucy departed, Ria went near Bella, after sometime, just then, Melvin walked in, where Ria and Bella were present.

Melvin asked both Bella and Ria "Did you guys see my antique watch?"

They both replied "No"

Actually, the thing Melvin looking for was, an antique watch, which was given to him, by his uncle, on becoming crown prince.

Melvin love his uncle so much that, he treasures his antique watch given by him.

The only ones, who know about the whereabouts of the watch are, his dear sister Lucy and his childhood friend Ria.

so he asks Ria about the watch, "Ria, did you see my watch"

Ria answered, "The watch given to you by your uncle!?"

Melvin replied, "yes the one you also used to like!"

"No, I didn't see that watch, why? Did something happen?" asked Ria

Melvin answered "I can't find the watch! It's gone!"

Just then, suddenly, Bella interrupted and said "is it the watch in the rumours!?"

"The watch in rumours!?" both Ria and Melvin exclaimed

Bella answered "Isn't there a rumour that, your highness has an antique watch, which will be given to your future wife"

Ria says "why are there many rumours these days!?"

Melvin asks Bella "where did you hear that from?"

Bella replied "from different people, I don't know the exact persons"

Melvin asked them "By any chance, did u guys see someone going into my room!?"

One of the maid said while trembling "I saw lady Rianide...going into your room, your highness!"

Melvin was shocked and asked Ria "Ria, did you go into my room?"

Ria answered "yes, I went, but…"

Suddenly Bella interrupted again and said "cousin! You went into his highness room? Why?"

Melvin asked " why?"

Ria answered "Why else would I go, isn't it for you? But you weren't there"

Just then Bella said "His highness is saying that his watch disappeared, do you have anything to do with it?"

Ria suddenly looked at Bella with anger and said "What do you think about me? Do you think I am a thief ?"

"Even Melvin don't think of me like that"

Bella said "well if you're not the one who stole the watch, then do you mind getting inspected?"

Ria looked at Melvin, who was standing there, waiting him to say something, but Melvin was just silent watching

Ria said " I will get inspected then!"

After the inspection, the watch was found on the couch, where Ria was sitting, while looking after Bella.

Ria was shocked about what was happening and said "What is that doing there?"

Bella said "cousin, didn't you say that, you weren't the thief?"

Ria answered "yes, I am not, I don't know how that watch got there?"

Bella questioned "I heard that you are the future crown princess, by any chance did you take that to..... "

Ria was perplexed and said "Do you even know what are you talking about!?"

Bella said " Who knows!" while sneering

after listening to Bella, Ria looked at Melvin, and asked "Melvin, do you believe her?"

Melvin was silent and didn't say anything

Just then, Ria realized that, the eyes which looked at Ria gently, were now looking at her with full of doubt.

She asked Melvin again,"Don't you believe me?"

Melvin answered "it's not that I don't believe you...." with doubtful gaze

After seeing what Melvin said, ria with her gloomy face said, "Is this what you have to say, after watching me for many years?"

Melvin was silent

Ria wasn't mad at anyone but herself ,because, everyone there thought that, she was the thief, but Melvin, who she thought will be the one, who will be her side no matter what, didn't even say anything.

She was hurt, because, all she expected from him were the words "No, I believe you" but all she got was silence

Upon seeing all these things Ria laughed at herself and said "I get it, you guys can think whatever you want! I know I am not the one who did this"

Melvin said "I don't want to look into this matter anymore! Everyone dismissed"

After listening to the words Melvin said, Ria realized that, Melvin didn't even ask her to explain.

she was hurt

Ria wanted a chance to explain, but all she got was People looking at her with doubtful eyes...
