Episode five

David’s POV

I woke up on the ground, my back is killing me. I looked around and saw Nolan half on the floor and the other half on the couch. I looked around but couldn’t find Isabella, she’s usually one of the first to wake up. I went to check on her and saw her passed out on her desk. I guess she worked all night. I went to check on what she was working on, I mean it must be very important for her to skip a day off just to work. I went up close and took a couple of papers, I couldn’t understand anything. I read all the papers and caught up with a few things on them, I was wondering if she’s gonna hide these or tell Nolan. She started moving, she woke up and looked at me…..then she looked at the papers in my hand. “Are you gonna hide these?” I asked, she looked at me and sighed. “I won’t hide it from him, but I won’t tell him now. I need to get everything together first” Isabella replied to me. “So what do you have so far?” I asked as I raised my right eyebrow. “I found out that Averi is actually still alive and that she planned her fake death to frame a girl named Ella, I search about Ella and found out that she’s Nolan’s childhood friend, but the thing is Averi always heard about her from Nolan so she hated her even though she’s never met her. She put an act and made it like Ella is the murderer.” Isabella told me everything in a serious tone while showing me the evidence. I couldn’t believe what I heard.

Nolan’s POV

I woke up sleeping on the couch, I looked around and found nothing. I got up and took a shower, then I got dressed. As I was ready to go out my phone started to ring, I picked it up only for one of my men to tell me they know what happened to Averi. I was finally about to hear the truths behind her death, whoever did this to her will face hell on earth. I didn’t look for Isabella and David to come and help me, I went straight to the base. As I got there, Alex, one of my men, gave me information about what happened that night. I looked at it until I saw the part I wanted. The name of the killer and the planner and where they live. Ella……that’s who killed my love, I will get back to you. I looked at the address, surprisingly it isn’t that far, so I told my men to go and kidnap whoever this Ella is. The name ‘Ella’ just kept ringing in my head, it sounded so familiar. My men were all ready out of the house, I decided not to let David and Isabella know about this, I know I’ve been pretty harsh on them, but now that I have the murderer in my hands I shouldn’t put any pressure on them.

While I was waiting at my office one of my men came and told me that Ella is in the torture room. I smirked as I tightened my fist. I was glad to finally take revenge. I went in and saw a blonde, blue-eyed girl. She looks very familiar, I just don’t remember where I saw her. I didn’t worry too much about it though, she looked at me with teary eyes. What a sl*t, does she think I’ll fall for the innocent act or what? I want to slap those fake tears out of her eyes, does she think this is a joke? I went closer to her and grabbed her chin harshly. Her mouth was taped so she couldn’t say anything. She struggled and tried to remove my hands, I looked at her with pure disgust.
