Isabella POV

When I woke up I really didn’t remember what happened but I could tell that something was wrong so I looked back at the cameras. I looked back at the cameras and started to remember everything that happened and everything that Mikayla said. I’m not gonna jump to conclusions about what she said, if Nolan finds out the true colors of his love he’ll go mad. So I held an investigation that only I’ll work on, not even that hard-headed idiot will know of. Jake called and told me that he had found something on Averi, he had told me that Averi was still alive and that he had a picture of her jumping out of the car before it had made an impact. I couldn’t believe what he had just told me, I told Jake that I’ll talk to him later. I went down to the office and looked back at the files of the night of the crash. I watched it over and over again till I finally found the part when she jumped out or at least she did when she went under the bridge. I was confused at this point, if she had jumped out of the car how come she wasn’t injured? And how come she suddenly disappeared? I have to get every bit of information before telling Nolan, if not he’ll lose trust in me. I called her the number on her information, her parents answered. I talked with them and explained who I am. They seemed hesitant on saying something personal that might get them in trouble. I wasn’t satisfied with the information I got, I went and investigated this Ella, I found some background information, but I couldn’t get any pictures of her in any of them.

I need to know who her cousin is, and I need to meet with her uncle and aunt. As I was about to go and search for more information, I heard the doorbell ring, I went to check and it was David and Nolan coming back drunk. I looked at the watch and saw that it was already past midnight, ugh what kind of girl’s day is this, all I did is work.

But I can't say that now, I can’t let these two idiots know anything about what happened today. I helped them inside, by helping them I mean I threw them on the floor and left them on my desk. I hid all the paperwork that I gathered and went to make some soup for the two drumheads to eat before bed. I don’t want to hear them complaining about anything tomorrow. I gave them the soup and went back to work, I worked all night, but I fell asleep during sunrise.
