Episode three

David’s POV

An hour goes by as I and Nolan am in the car. None of us have said a word to each other the whole time. I think he’s mad at me. Nolan made a stop at a gas station to get us some snacks. As we walked in we saw the store being robbed, although Nolan doesn’t care because he finds it normal for these things to happen, I do. I went to help as Nolan looked at me from afar. He knew I wasn’t used to the Mafia world just yet, although he and I have been friends for the longest time, I just got into the Mafia world a few years ago. I ran and punched the man robbing the store, he tried to shoot me with the gun he was holding. I knew better not to let that happen, I grabbed the gun fast and put it to his head, he got on his knees. I tied him up in the store and put the gun somewhere far and left, of course, I’ll leave before the police come. If the police come and I’m still here I’ll be dead, I’ll either die by sitting in jail or in the hands of Nolan. I ran back to where Nolan was, “What took you so long?” Nolan asked with a harsh tone, I couldn’t find an excuse so I ignored his question. “It’s past midnight….I’m not your best friend now, I’m your fcking boss AND I ASKED SOMETHING” Nolan yelled, “I’m sorry sir” I had my head lowered, he’s right though….I should have been faster. “Why would you do that in the first place?” Nolan asked again, giving a half glare towards me. “Because—” I tried to explain but he cut me off, “We kill people as a job, why would you help someone? Did I ask you to or were you caught up with the ‘Best Friend’ role?” Nolan said harshly, I know he doesn’t have a lot of feelings to express ever since Averi died.

-8 hours before-

Isabella POV

I finally got rid of those two idiots, they’re honestly so tiring to deal with. I always have to do housewife things, I’m not even married… I went up into my room to find something beautiful to put on, But I couldn’t find anything so I went up to the second floor’s bedroom and surprisingly I found that bish Mikayla in David’s room looking threw his stuff, I saw that she had papers about Nolan and David’s work in her hands, I could tell that she was gonna use that information against them. I took her to the roof so that I could kill her but right as I was about to do that she had told me that she knew what really happened to Averi. I didn’t believe her but I asked her some questions about what she knew. She told me that Averi didn’t really die in that crash, she told me that Averi was still alive. That she hated Ella from the very beginning so she wanted Nolan to hate her too by faking a murder. I don’t know who Ella is but I feel bad for her, I’ll try to explain everything to Nolan once he gets back, so I thought. Before I could do anything Mikayla put a drug on my nose for me to forget everything, I fainted………
