Nolan’s POV

A few hours passed since the meeting. They've been trying hard to find evidence, David called me saying that we would have to go back to America to find extra small details. I obviously agreed and got my luggage ready to go, all of my important men were ready and followed my car to my private jet. After eleven hours we got to America, the weather was different. It's been a while since I came here. I’m still tired from the flight so David and Isabella took me to my mansion straight away. I went straight to the master bedroom and took a shower, I felt so disgusting after a refreshed I went to bed. The next morning I woke up to the sun hitting my face. I smelled something good so I went down still in my nightwear. I saw Isabella and David cooking, well Isabella is cooking while David was just there to annoy her. I could clearly see that David was a lady’s guy, the only reason that’s a red flag is how short he is, *chuckle* He called every girl that he had his “wife”. He's really desperate at this point, I mean none of them stayed. “Good morning,” I said in a cold deep voice, they got startled, I guess my spying skills are getting better.

Narrative POV

“Breakfast is almost ready,” said Isabella. Nolan sat down beside David and started discussing what they had planned for the day. Nolan asked David if he’ll take a day off with him to spend time together. Nolan also said that they’ll have much more fun for the day as best friends and not coworkers. David said, “why not.” Isabella just stood there and kept cooking, she wanted a day off too and David could tell. But Nolan wanted it to be just him and David like some type of bros day out. So Nolan told Isabella to just take a day to herself, but he made sure to let her know not to throw a big party in his mansion like she was some kid. “Foods ready,” said Isabella. As she sat their plates on the table, all three of them ate at once. They discussed what they were going to be doing all day well Nolan and David were, Isabella, is just gonna be by herself. After they ate they went up to their rooms to dress up, After a while, Nolan calls David and Isabella down to meet one of his oldest friends ‘Mikayla.’ Nolan doesn’t know Mikayla’s real face, he doesn’t know what a two-faced bish she really is. Mikayla looked at David like she wanted to devour him. Although she has a personality of a garbage can, she’s still very pretty in a foxy way. He just doesn’t know that she has a lot of secrets. Mikayla acts innocent around them, she wants them to trust her. Mikayla then leaves for ‘important work’ After she leaves Nolan and David leaves the house too. After a long drive, they get to a club that is booked for just the two of them, it’s been a while since they went out together like this. Both Nolan and David got drunk pretty easily, they walked to a stranded beach nearby. They were goofing around, Nolan then noticed David just looking at him for a while. “What’s wrong?” Nolan asked David, “It's just………I miss going out like this ' David replied while looking up at the stars. Nolan laughed at how childish he sounded, “You act like you’re a caged little birdy” Nolan teased David. David glared at him, that’s when David stood up and punched Nolan in the face. Nolan stood up and said, “what the h*ll David what is wrong with you!” “Stop acting like we are gods because we're not Nolan, we’re just rich and powerful,” Said David. “I know” Nolan replied kinda cold, David realized that what he did is wrong based on the tone Nolan used towards him, David understood that he has a limit of words when it comes to Nolan, Yes Nolan is his best friend, but he’s also his boss, not just any boss. A boss that can get rid of him faster than wind.
