CHAPTER – 2 PLAY SCHOOL

It was the first day of school,

Since she has been together with me all this while, I find it difficult to send her to school, though its gonna be only 4 hours per day

We got her ready for the first day of school

Me and my husband together decided to send katheeja to the nearest play school and there is where we met our neighbor who is also sending her son to the school (because of similar age ).  She is so much worried that he is not interested in going to school.

Since we knew each other we planned to send our kids together and get them back

together . since saw them coming into the school , i choose to go and greet them.

nandhini - "Baeta whats you name ?"

Kid  - “jae.. jae..  janet aunty”

Ja – “ nabi “

Nand  – “ kathe you should call people by their name, see janaet is here say hello to

him”

Ja – “ nabi” she shook her little hands with him

Gow – “ kathe mom that’s ok . they will get used to each other since they wil come

and go together”

Gow POV – my dew date is this week, so hear I am sitting in from of the doctor room

for check up, that’s when I saw this lovely couple waiting to get their check up

Since the girl was pretty and I was envious of her, I went to her and asked “ how

many months “

She told that  she was in her third trimister it’s the 9 th month for which I replied “oh really, I am

due this week”

Since she didn’t want to extend the conversation ,so I stopped myself and returned to my seat

And as doctor said within that week itself I got my baby and it was a  boy

But unfortunately I couldn’t feed the baby because I was not lactating much and

that’s when my mom decided to go next door and ask for some mothers milk but

the lady next door refuse

I saw my moms hurtful face and was upset and that’s when we decided to make

something of our own to feed the baby (formulated milk powder ). Though we knew

, we are not supposed to give this to new born, still we didn’t have anyother

option other than feeding this to the hungry kid

There was a sudden knock in the door, a female entered the room with a cup of milk

saying it was her sisters and not to tell their mom about it

 “ I was soo grateful for the milk that they gave" since I gave birth just yesterday I couldn’t move a lot.

But my mom said that the girl looked really pretty (milk's owner) while smiling which reminded me

of the girl whom I saw in the doctors office the other day

Few days went by and we named the him janet

I am the only person who will have to take care because his father is a business

man ,so  sometimes he  forgets that even I am a working women and my existence.

It was a hard decision for me to give birth to him.

It was really hard for me to continue my job after a year break, but still I tried

my best coping up with it.

And after few yrs it was already time for me to join jae in his school

Since there is no one to take care, I though it would be better for him to go to a

school near by and I got a admission from the school and that’s where I saw my neighbor whom I saw yrs before in

the doctors office

Yes she stays in the building next to mine so, when I go to hang cloths, we often

greeted one another

She has so many people in her family to take cate of her and her family

I really am envious of her no matter what I do

Janet was not interested in going to school, nore in meeting stranger. Since he grew up

as a only child, it was hard for me to make him come out of the box.

Even since janet was born, me and my husband started having various types of fights.

It many ways it  seemed like, he was least interested in me and janet. Because he never spend

time with us

All he did in his whole life was work.

We never celebrated any kind of anniversaries or birthdays or any other festivals.

I took janet to his new school

and introduced him to my neighbour .

kathee mom was quite interactive with jae, but jae didn’t seem to talk much, all he did was sit with her all the time.

Janet who was initially refusing

to go to class is now not bothering me when it comes to school and stuffs.

He does his homework on his own, so my part in his life started becoming less.

All he wanted was to be alone

This happened when he was 6yrs old

Since he only speaks to kathee, I joined him in the same school as her.

He was only interested in studies, always sitting with his book in the room.

General POV –

 Jae started becoming studious in his studies and always quite and calm, he never spoke much to strangers

Katheeja is the complete opposite of him. She is least bothered about her studies, always running in the ground

with other kids, lots of injuries and scars in the body

This happened when they were around 11 years old

They were doing there 6th std  and the school was going fine without any chaos Jae was sitting in a cornor in

the library and reading a book.

Though its hard to see people of his age in the library.

He always had this habit of his sitting near the window corner and reading the library
