- Aren't they? Alma drew all of them. - Laura tried to help me\, desperately\, when actually she just made it worse.

It seemed to had worked with everyone else, except Cade. While the other guys gathered around me, he just went to practice, silently.

- You paint so beautifully! - said one of them.

He was about my age, 20 years, but he had a childish face.

- By the way\, I'm Ashton. - said he\, with a huge grin on his face. - I always wanted to learn to paint\, would you mind teaching me a bit sometime? - he said\, while coming closer.

- Sure\, I'll be here for a few weeks\, so anytime!

- Thaaanks! - he exclaimed\, while he couldn't hold back his excitement and hugged me\, while lifting me in the air.

- Okay guys\, the fun is over\, we came to play! - I heard Cade's voice in the next moment.

- I have to go\, see you! - said Ashton.

- Good luck\, I'll cheer for you. - I said\, out of kindness.

- Really? - a blush showed on Ashton's cheeks - Then I'll definitely score the most\, I hope you'll watch!

- I have to paint too - said I\, trying to avoid the misunderstanding. But it was already too late.

Once we worked some more, Laura and me sat down to eat our sandwiches. In the meanwhile we were watching the game play out.

- It seems Ashton really likes you\, doesn't he? He can't help but glance over here every two seconds. - Laura said while laughing.

- Yes - I said\, worried.

- You don't like him\, eh? Even though he seems like such a nice guy.

- He surely is. But somehow I can't feel anything like love towards him.

- That's alright\, it's not a bad thing. Love has to come naturally... He looked here again\, how cute!

And although we were talking about Ashton, I couldn't keep my eyes off Cade. He kept his focus on the game this whole time, like his life depends on it. The only one that sometimes surpassed him was Ashton. It was an amazing game between the two of them. Unfortunately he still couldn't score more than Cade, he wouldn't let him.

- Okay\, I think we should go back. Anyways\, it seems that Ashton can't really concentrate with you watching. By the way\, I have to help my mother later\, so we should leave earlier today.

- It's okay\, I'll stay.

And so went by another hour, then Laura left. The flow of creation dragged me in again, and time passed like nothing, before I realized it was starting to get dark. I packed up my things, getting ready to leave, when the last person stepped off the basketball ground. It was Cade!

- I'm surprised about the flowers!

- You like them?

- They're not bad. I never knew someone so ugly could make something alright. Well\, see ya.

What? Insults again? And again, I couldn't defend myself. But it came out of the blue, it surprised me.

Now that I think of it, I gave that stupid reply earlier this day. It's no wonder he speaks like this.

And of course he would call me ugly, I don't wear makeup, nor pretty clothes. I dress like a boy and act like one. My feminity is non-existent.

Ahhh, and why did I have to give that idiot reply... I'm so stupid...
