" SHE RESIGNED ON HER FIRST DAY? " That was more like a scream

" Ahh Ven clam down you gonna make me deaf with that scream," Danee said closing his ears and he continued " Yes she left on her first day because you didn't take your fucking pills " That caught me off, guard

"Huh.?" raising an eyebrow

" Mrs Willson fired her as soon as she saw you, unconscious  Buddy you  better talk to your mom about this issue for now baby let me take you home," He said winking with a creepy face

" Daney I'm straight," I said with a get the hell out of here face

" Come on I'm way more handsome for you honey " he mocked at me and I signalled him to go out as my phone started ringing I was stressed just by looking at the caller id yet I decided to pick up yup she pisses me off but I know she loves me a way more than that

" Hey, Mom I- "

" Keven I told you to take a rest didn't I..??" she screamed so loud that I could tell she shouldn't have called me she should have shouted from home

"Mom I-" Again she cut me off and yelled at me for not taking care of myself I cussed Mrs.Willson for telling my mom about this incident I don't know how my thought drifted to Samantha as I thought about Mrs.Willson firing her

" Mom I'll come home today then you can personally yell at me, for now, save your energy bye " I hunged up on her and asked Lara to send Mrs Willson to see me

"Mr. Lark I'm so glad that you are fine," said Mrs. Willson coming into my office

" Did you Fire her?" I posed her a straight question which made her frown  " Keven I-"

" I appreciate your concern for me but you have no right to dismiss my assistant, do you..? "My tone was a bit serious and harsh for her but she deserved it I can't tolerate people taking my position for granted

"Mr Lark I'm sorry but she did a bad job in treating -" I cut her off

" Well do you want to live with me and look after my needs, " I asked her raising my voice

" I'm sorry Sir I'll ask her to come for work tomorrow," she said and left the cabin

SAMARIA FRANCIS

I'm sitting on a couch looking through some information about The Arathia kingdom  my head turned towards the door as I heard someone opening it

" Zi... " I said without any expression on my face

" H- Hey Sam," She said laughing nervously with an apologetic look on her face

" Baby I won't hesitate to kill you if you're gonna let it slide "

" Sammy I'm so sorry I thought you'd be very surprised but I didn't expect you to get fired right away," She said as my face turned into a sad one

" Forget it... It's not my workplace anymore maybe I should ask Edward to throw me in Wolf Group" I said just then my phone vibrated with an unknown number on it and I picked it up just to hear a woman saying " Miss.Jones, I'm sorry for being harsh on you I think it would be so better if you come back to work from tomorrow "

" Oh thank you I will, " I said calmly and hunged  up on her after that I told Zia about the call she was happy, this wasn't the first mission we worked on together but she was my roommate my training centre and we both were there for each other

NEXT MORNING

I went to the office just then Zia entered we both greeted each other and then went to our respective departments

As I came to my table to unpack the stuff That I packed yesterday Lara came to me and told me to see Keven

I knocked on the door and heard a come-in from inside as I went in with a little grin on my face I wished him " Good morning Mr Lark How may I help you "

" I guess My wounds need a Dressing," I said pointing to his left arm

" I changed the dressing yesterday Sir " she replied

" Can you check it once I feel uneasy " It almost felt like I was asking for her attention I didn't know why I felt bad for her getting blamed for my mistake

" Can you come over here sir I will take a closer look?" She said moving near to a couch I did as she wanted me to and sat on it she bent to my level and started removing the bandages

" Tell me if it hurts Mr. Lark," she said to which I made an I won't feel any pain face just then she kept the spirit-coated cotton on the side of a stitch to which I hissed in pain

"I'll be gentle," she said just then our eyes met I didn't realize when my heartbeat started rising I was lost in them frankly speaking this was my first time being this close to her.

I need to admit that she wasn't that sexy kind of  beautiful but her charm attracted me, and her eyes made me want to give them all of my attention

Those sparkling eyes reminded me of someone I badly miss was it her ..? I was thinking just then her question brought me back to reality " Do you still feel uncomfortable Mr Lark.? "she asked. I shook my head as a no

She again wrapped the bandages around my arm and went out of the cabin I was just looking at her sitting on the couch thinking about the feeling I experienced just now

She again came into the Office placing a tray containing some food, coffee, and Some pills. She was more cautious about my eating habits this time

" Please take the pills after you complete the food, Mr Lark," she said and was about to leave just when I caught her attention by saying " I'm Sorry Sam " That made her turn towards me

"Mr Lark Wha- " I cut her off saying "You may leave now " With a pissed-off face she left my cabin. I let out a deep sigh and said to myself what was I apologizing for Ahh on the other side, I thought I should

I was having a conversation with myself  " Was it you Ria"

" Ahh she can't be her "

" MAYBE IT'S HER!!!"
