Chapter 2

I wake up to my sister screaming at me , rage evident in her eyes as yank me from my bed . Landing on the cold floor , I winced as my ribs protested against the sudden movement . Looking up , she continued screaming at me , but all I could hear was a ringing in my ears . My vision become dotted with black spots as I tried to stay awake . I broke out into a cold sweat , silently begging my body not give out already .If I pass out while she was talking to me , I'd suffer more .

"Are you even listening " she snapped

Finally , the ringing stopped and the black spots vanished . I blinked few times , regaining my composure, "i'm sorry , my ears were ringing . "

she sighed, " Dylan's brother is going to be here in five minutes . we're meeting his fiance , so this house has to be clean !"

If I could roll my eyes and tell her to do it herself , I would but then i'd beaten beyond recognition. Scurrying to my feet I swiftly made my way downstairs to begin cleaning so the wasn't what my sister considered 'a mess' when his brother arrived . I clenched my jaw as I scrubbed the floors , fuming over being forced to be somewhat close to him again . You see Dylan's brother was my mate first , the one that fate has chosen for me . But he didn't want me . He rejected me in front of every one making me more of laughing stock then i already was .

His marrying someone else bothered me , making my hearty ache at the thought of him kissing some one else . However , I shoved my felling aside , telling myself he wasn't worth the thought or pain .

Wiping the sweat from my brows , I moved on to the dusting , making sure every shelf and table shining in the sunlight . Roughly ten minutes later , the foyer kitchen , family room , guest room were looking pristine . thankfully , I'm pretty good at keeping up with the clean ,so my sister's requirement was basically straightening things up . My few seconds of satisfaction were wiped away the minute his scent flowed through the air , flirting with my nostrils as I attempted to make it to my room . I let out a small yelp as he grabbed my wrist forcing me to turn so i faced him.

"You're still alive ?" he asked , a disgusted look on his face .

I swallowed , "Unfortunately , yes ,I am."

His fiance cocked her head watching me with curious yet disgusted eyes . " You look terrible . . . . why would they let you live ? You're more of a burden on them , don't you think , honey ?" she asked turning toward Andrew.

Andrew nodded , "let's go , I don't want to vomit . "

I rolled my eyes behind their back ,such immature attitudes .

i busied myself around the kitchen , throwing together dinner so all the idiots could finally eat. I frowned as I stirred the sauce , debating how difficult it would be to poison a pack of werewolves. I would most likely need a poison that didn't have a scent or taste , but sadly , i'm not pro when it comes to ideas such as this letting go of my somewhat dark idea , I quickly finished the sauce and began setting everything on large dining table . I quietly stood to the side as they all filled in , laughing and talking without a care in the world .

My chest ached as I remembered a time when I was like this too , running around the this too, running around the house , chasing my older sister . the sound of our laughter would echo through the halls , our smiles never leaving our faces as we play - wrestle on ground . I bit the inside of my cheek as I swiftly took my leave not wanting to shed a single tear in front of them.

I walked up stairs and sat on my bed a small tear dropping onto the ground . I closed my eyes , willing myself to stop crying . I hated showing such weakness . I couldn't stop the sobs . It was pain that i'd held onto these fourteen or so years just came tumbling out . I let out a shaking the window , wondering why the god hated me so much why my mother hated me enough to leave me .

I wasn't sure how much time passed before I decided to retire for the night needing retire for the night , needing to retire for the night , needing to get enough rest so my body could heal somewhat properly curling up under my sheets , I silently cried myself to sleep , wishing I wouldn't wake up ever again .
