Syera's POV
"Come on, Syera! This will happen once in a lifetime!" Cesia said, She's inviting me for her birthday party but i decline because I know mom will never allow me to go on a party.
Since I was a kid I didn't have any chance to go out outside the house alone, go out with friends aren't allowed. I only had a chance to go out on a vacation but with my family. but when there's no special events I can't really go out. They're really strict, no gadgets allowed at the time of 8 pm, I really want to use gadgets but my gadgets really shut down when 8 pm comes.
No boyfriend allowed, if I have a friends mom and dad needs to meet them. I understand them for being strict, that's also for my safety. But why do I feel suffocated?
"Syera? are you still there? hello?"
"Y-yeah? sorry Cesia, I can't really go! you know that my parents is strict!" I said frustrated, I wanted to go but I really can't.
"8 pm is near-"
"Syera, what if you'll escape? please...this is my sixteenth birthday I want you to be here, please..." She's begging..it's her sixteenth birthday and she have been forcing my parents allow me to come to her party for weeks now, I can't really disappoint Cesia, She's my precious friend since junior high school.
"I-i'll go.." I said unsurely, I don't know what will happen to me after this.
"Yehey! We'll wait you here!" She said and end the call, I was about to go to my closet but then I remembered that Cesia sent me a dress days ago, I didn't open it yet so I open the box and I look at the black dress.
It's a petite black satin strappy straight neck bodycon dress. This is too short, I message Cesia that I will not wear this, this is too short for me. Plus I don't wear these kind of dress.

I turn off my phone and just wear it. I sigh and look at the mirror. I put on my oversize hoodie and my ready to go black hand bag. I will just take off this hoodie once I arrived there.
I open the window and look at the ground, you can do it. For your best friend.
I tie my blanket in my windows and throw it outside. I used that blanket so I can escape my room, at the end I successfully landed.
