So king Vikramaditya ! you judge this time,did the physician say wrong or right ? who was the most gentle of all the princesses ? what does your judgement say ?

Vikramaditya said after hearing the nonsense - among these four princesses, no one was gentle. For this reason the physician refused to treat them.

Betal said - then on what basis did you say that ?

The king said - Look, the softness of the mind and heart is more than the softness of the body.

Therefore, that kind maid was the one with the softest heart. That is why I consider her to be soft. If the mind and heart is not soft, what will the softness of the body do ? for this reason the doctor refused to treat. This is my opinion.

Betala said - There was a glorious king named Bhadrasen in Punyapura . He was also a scholar and a wise man . His praises were heard every where . Time are not always the same . As the king grew older , he was immersed in luxury . He put his kingship in the hands of the minister and pleased (immersed in) himself . Bhadrasen 's minister suyash was very intelligent . seeing the plight of the king, he became very worried .He explain to the king many times . Then the king wanted to spend the last days of his life in luxury .

There come a time when the king took the beautiful wife of one of his courtiers as his concubine . The minister became more worried about this incident .

One day the minister 's wife said to him - Look , how long will you live in such a disgrace ?

Rather,it would be better to leave here with the burden of pilgrimage . You will be saved from this infamy in the pit . The minister accepted his wife proposal and told the king - the king also agree to his words . The king appointed a new minister in place of minister suyash. The new minister started a conspiracy to dethrone the king. the people began to revolt because the king would indulge in luxury . on this occasion, the minister took over the kingdom and axpelled the king from the country . Hearing this news , suyash was very saddened. He did not bother to come back to the kingdom anymore. insted he went to visit more places of pilgrimage .

Thus he went on a pilgrimage and reached Rameswaram in the south. he stopped at a shrine there.when he went to take a bath before sunrise, he saw a strange sight and stop .He saw a tree coming out of the sea .Then a beautiful young woman sitting on it, seeing her form , the minister suyash become enamored.
