"I, too, am here for the chance to get some extra cash from running the savings club," replied another mother.
Charzo shook his head sadly. "It's rather pitiful," Charzo murmured softly.
"Oh, looks like everyone's arrived. Please, take a seat," said Lena, greeting everyone with a warm smile.
"Hey you! Hurry up and fetch some snacks!" Lena demanded of Charzo.
Charzo walked to the kitchen, returned with a selection of snacks, and proceeded to make drinks.
"Is that your servant?" asked one of the ladies, dressed in a yellow outfit.
"That's right," nodded Lena.
"But why did you choose a male servant? As far as I know, everyone else has female servants in their homes," they remarked.
Lena fell silent, but then swiftly broke into a smile.
"By the way, what would you all like to eat? He's quite a good cook," said Lena, steering away from the subject.
"Oh, so you chose him because of his excellent cooking?" another queried.
"He-he-he, exactly," replied Lena, giving a thumbs-up.
"Uh? I feel like having Bombay minced meat," voiced the woman in the orange attire.
"I'd prefer spicy sour chicken."
"I'll have beef steak."
"I want salmon with oyster sauce."
"Sesame beef roast."
"Chicken katsu."
"Spaghetti with full-cream milk sauce."
'Damn! Are they planning to spend all my money?' Lena thought bitterly, though she maintained a smiling facade.
"Okay, just a moment. I'll have my servant go shopping first," said Lena, still smiling as she moved towards the kitchen.
"You heard their orders, right? Here's the money for groceries, and I don't want to hear that it's not enough," Lena said as she laid down 500 thousand rupiahs on the table.
"Mother-in-law, this amount won't cover the cost of groceries; beef prices are up, and salmon is expensive too," Charzo replied.
"Oh, you! Seriously!" Lena pulled out another 500 thousand rupiahs and placed it on the table.
"No more additions, if you want more, find it yourself," Lena said as she left Charzo in the kitchen to join her savings club friends.
They planned to swim together before dining.
Charzo removed his apron and hung it in the kitchen.
Ready to leave, Charzo had only one task to complete—placing the little frogs to the side so they could add fun to the swimming session later on.
Charzo set the frogs aside near the pool, intending to introduce them to the water when the guests went for a swim.
Then Charzo headed out to the market.

Charzo mounted his bicycle and started pedaling towards the distant market.
"Actually, before heading to the market, I'll drop by the internet cafe," said Charzo.
"Ah, you've come. I was just about to contact you," said the internet cafe owner.
"It seems like your game's quite a hit; there's a full house today," Charzo observed with a smile.
"Yes, I didn't expect your game to become so popular and attract so many new customers," replied the cafe owner, clearly delighted.
"Ah, your promotional skills played a big part too. Without them, no one would know there's a new game around," Charzo replied graciously.
"Ultimately, our partnership is sure to yield great profits. You're still on a bicycle; what do you say if I use our earnings to get you a motorbike?" the internet cafe owner suggested.
