"How does it work?" asked the curious internet cafe owner.
"It's a game I recently created. It's brand new; would you like to give it a try first?" Charzo inquired.
"Sure thing." The internet cafe owner nodded, sat down in Charzo's chair, and played the game.
"This is absolutely amazing; alright then, let's collaborate. I'll market this game to my customers; they're going to love it," the cafe owner said, smiling with delight.
"Okay, so we're partners now. Next time, when I have a chance, I'll make a new game so they won't get bored with the same old ones. We'll split the profits fifty-fifty," Charzo declared.
"Are you sure you want to split it in half? How about three ways?" the owner joked.
"It's fine, without your cafe, my game wouldn't run smoothly," Charzo responded.
"Thank you so much; I hope our game business flourishes," the owner expressed his hope.
"I hope so too," Charzo nodded.
And so, the contract was signed that very day, sealing their partnership, and the owner began introducing Charzo's latest game for his patrons to play.
The game created by Charzo became a hit among the customers, making it exclusive to that internet cafe, not available in others or online, guaranteeing a surge of visitors to the venue.
Before they realized it, the clock struck 11:00 AM.
"Goodness, I've spent too much time here. I should head back now," Charzo said in a rush.
"Wait! Leave your mobile number!" the owner called out.
"Right, give me your number and I'll contact you," Charzo said, as the owner noted down his contact information and handed it to Charzo.
"Okay! I'll call you," Charzo waved and ran off as quickly as he could.
"I need to hurry home, or else that hag will unleash her ultimate spell on me," Charzo murmured while sprinting.
Indeed, upon arrival, his suspicions were confirmed. Lena was waiting for him at the door, flanked by Carry and Carin. Lena looked furious, eyes blazing with anger.
"Hmm... just as I thought, he's already here," Charzo approached, noting Lena's presence by the door.
Splash!
Lena drenched Charzo with a bucket of water.
"Where have you been?! Instead of cooking, you've been gallivanting! I've warned you not to wander off! Don't embarrass us if you want to stay here any longer!" Lena scowled at Charzo.
"Yes, Mother-in-law," Charzo nodded at Lena, unfazed by the glare that usually intimidated him, showing no fear at all today.
Charzo then went inside, heading straight for the kitchen.
"Carin, don't you think there's something odd about Charzo?" Carry asked, holding onto Carin's arm as she was about to leave.
"Hmm? What's odd about that worthless man? He's useless, always has been and always will be. Anyway, I'm going to change; I'm sweating bullets in these thick clothes. Ugh... it's been unbearably hot lately," Carin fanned her face as if it was on fire.
"Is it just me?" Carry wondered, but didn't dwell on it further and went to her room as well.
