Chapter 4

The whole afternoon I had been followed I am guessing by Ryder's men, I really need to tell him that they suck, I think whilst smiling. I think I would feel safe in his arms, his very strong arms, what am I think, don't be silly.

Ghost shouts at me, do you smell that, it smells like pine cones and fresh water.

Umm, Ghost we are next to a lake and in a forest are you sure you are not confused,

No, I'm not,...mate????????

Ghost then disappeared from my mind, I then decided at that point to pack up my things and head back to the hotel.

It's been 2 days since I met Lilly and it's driving me crazy that I can't see her or be near her, I'm upset and confused why she can't feel or sense me, it hasn't helped that I have been run off my feet trying to sort out these rogues that attacked us the other night.

We have 2 down in the dungeon, that I need to work on, it helps when most werewolves are scared of you, and leaving them down there definitely puts them on edge but for now, I'm too knackered.

I fall on my bed and start dreaming of Lilly, she wrapped in my arms laughing and looking up at me with those beautiful blue eyes, it then cuts to her screaming as she is dragged away from me, I'm trying to keep up with her but I can't I'm screaming her name then she vanished. I wake up sweating, I look at the clock it's 11 am, I mind link Chase asking where Lilly is and he said she is at the lake for the last 2 days.

I take a shower and then head over to the lake. I can smell her before I even set foot into the forest, my men have been shadowing her to keep her safe, I don't think she has noticed.

I get to the clearing and it looks like she is asleep she looks stunning her hair to spread out but must come down to her waist, it's a really dark red, and her legs just seem to go on forever, I'm so in love with her,

"Hi Ryder" snapping me out of my thoughts

How did she know it was me I thought she hasn't even looked up.

" I heard you walking," she said as she sat up

I sat next to her and noticed her sketchbook, " that's a really nice drawing of the lake, do you mind me looking through your book"

" it's ok"

I flick through whilst she is looking out at the lake, and I come across a drawing of Max.

"Lilly, who is this"

"I don't know, he came to me in a dream last night"

I was speechless I just kept looking at her and then at the drawing,

" the drawing is of my wolf Max" By this point we are both looking at each other.

" He is beautiful, just like fire," she said running her fingers over the drawing

Mate, mate, mate is all Max kept saying, I was struggling so hard to keep him under control.
