Alex had always been close with his group of friends, a tight-knit group of guys who had known each other since high school. But when he found himself falling for Jason, he felt a twinge of anxiety about how they would react.

One night, as they were all hanging out at a local bar, Alex decided to confide in them. He took a deep breath and told them about his feelings for Jason, his voice shaking slightly with nerves.

"Hey, it's okay," he said, trying to keep his voice steady. "I just wanted to be honest with you. And I hope we can still be friends."

Jason smiled at him, a warm and genuine expression. "Of course we can, man. You're my best friend, no matter what."

"I don't know," he said, hesitantly. "I mean, I don't want to disappoint them or anything."

His friends nodded in understanding. "Yeah, we get it. But you don't have to rush into anything. Just take your time and do what feels right for you."
