This was a story about an actor/singer and an author, it was well predicted that, they could never work things out but that prediction turned out to be false, to me this story is uniquely special!

The crowd for a filming*

“Uwa! it is Liam everyone it is Liam….”

Liam was a top actor he already got 3 Grammy’s and 2 Oscars at a young age, he started his singing career when he was 19 and he has been an actor since forever, that’s the reason he has quite a huge number of fans, he is handsome tall and has beautiful blue eyes, that stand-out on his black hair. Yea for sure he if the nation’s best Actor, and anyone would recognize him….

The crowd gathered outside the studio, started shouting as soon as they saw Liam alone and rushed toward him!

“everyone chill, I’m sure I’m enough for all of my fans, please give me place to pass through!”

but no one gave a damn about what he said, that’s what fans mostly do…

“come on just give me some place, I can’t even breath!”

he was feeling suffocated, he sneaked out of shooting to get some air but he guessed that he wouldn’t now. Being an actor there is always a lot of pressure and there is paparazzi everywhere, if they come to know that he sneaked out, he would surely be followed.

Liam’s POV

The fans really!!, sometimes I can’t handle what they do! But without them I wouldn’t be anywhere! Okay now how do I get out of this? Ah! “There, everyone see there! He is my boyfriend Nathan!” I spotted Nathan as he was coming out of the studio, now I owe him one! [Nathan was his friend and both of them were working together for a new movie]

As soon as all of them diverted their eyes, I think I ran as fast as Usain Bolt! I knew that I wouldn’t be safe so soon, so I started searching for a place that wasn’t too crowded,

At last I found one, it was a Bakery! I had never seen it before it was in the corner and there wasn’t anybody there… because I ran so fast, I don’t even know where I was! There was only one person and I don’t think that that person would recognize me, I entered the bakery, and the old woman behind the counter asked me “how can I help you, young man?”

the bakery had different food and a unique smell, it smelled of chocolate and mint mixed with the smell of bread, I had never eaten some of the sweets that were displayed, and some which I wasn’t allowed to eat as an actor, I saw a chocolate truffle pastry and so I ordered, it’s not like I can eat it every day.

The person standing side of me did not even look up, the lady handed her the same pastry as mine, for a moment I thought she was giving it to me it would be embarrassing if I had stretched my hand. It wasn’t my mistake that the woman side of me, preferred the same pastry as mine!

She went and sat in the corner by the window, there wasn’t much light there, besides the light coming in from that window.

It looked as if she was working on something, there was a laptop, a small diary, a pen and her pastry...with, I think that was hot cocoa, that’s a lot of chocolate I thought, suddenly the lady asked me

“are you new here son?”

“yes ma’am! There aren’t much people here today?”

“Oh no, no one comes in this old bakery anymore besidessome other customers, nobody knows that this bakery still exists.”

She looked at the woman sitting in the corner and said,

“she over there by the corner, is a regular here. She lives just above, in the same building!”

“but this looks like a good place, why don’t you advertise it?”

I asked

“advertising? No, no I don’t want that, I’m happy with the amount of customers I get every day, and youngster’s like you all, nowadays have big brands of bingo jumbo, junk food they won’t want homemade cakes and bread. besides my son earns a handful which is enough for me.”

The lady said smiling, and gave me my cake, and I ordered a coffee.

I went and sat beside the girl by the window, I didn't think she knew me anyway, and I wanted to know a little bit about the bakery…

if the lady needed any financial help I could. even though she said no.

“hi! I heard that you are a regular customer here?”

I asked her, she did not answer, she was ignoring me? Me?! Or was she deaf?

Okay keep calm.

“may I know your name?” I asked her again,

she still did not reply, I was about to ask her something else when the lady said that my coffee was ready, I went and got my coffee, and sat at the same place.

Then I asked her if she liked chocolates, but she still did not reply, I was about to ask her if she knows anything about this bakery when she glared at me!

“Okay!” I took a bite of my pastry it was so damn good! It was nothing like the ones I’ve ever eaten!

“it’s so damn good! I see why you are a regular!” she did not have any change in expression but it felt like the corners of her lips were controlling the smile!

*After sometime….*

Why wasn’t she even taking a bite of her pastry? She was just sipping on her cocoa and typing, I asked her

“hey aren’t you gonna eat it?”

she just looked at me!

“if you aren’t then… I’m gonna take a bite, if you don’t mind it looks really tempting!”

I got up a bit from my chair, with the fork in my hand, thinking that I would get a bite as greedy as I was, but she suddenly caught my hand, and looked at me and she finally said

“Mr. West don’t you have basic manners? or you still bully people because of your fame?”

wait...she knows me? But bully?

“whom did I bully?” I asked

“you sure know how to act, after all you are an actor!”

“did I do something wrong?” I asked, I was a little bit confused.

“you are trying to eat someone’s food even though the person doesn’t know you! Don’t you find it wrong?”

“I could buy you another, anyway you were not eating it!”

“just because you have money and fame… I mean, just because the person is not eating something at that time doesn’t mean she won’t eat? and these are limited pastries...”

This person, surely knows me more than I think she does! She got up and said

“but since you want the cake so badly, I’ll give it to you as charity!” she walked away from the table, with her laptop and her other stuff. She went to the counter and paid her bills.
