Chapter 2 part 1

As they walked out of the building, Niffie's eyes became watery as they adjusted themselves to the bright light of the sun.

"Ah! There it is," said Nick with a sigh of relief.

As Niffie wiped her eyes with the silk handkerchief he had given her(he also gave her clothes to wear) she searched for what he was pointing at. It was a black Toyota Supra. Even though she had 'lost her memory' she knew one thing; the car was her favorite. The wheels had black rims. The seats were leather, and had the Toyota logo branded on them. There was space enough for a maximum of five people. The headlights shone brightly and the number plate was specially made with the words "Nick Walters" engraved on it. There was a neatly dressed man who stood in front of the car. He was dressed neatly in a black suit that had golden cuff links on the sleeves. He wore a matching black shirt to blend with it.

"Time to go," Nick said to her as he directed her to the car. The man opened the passenger door for her to enter but Nick stopped him and told her to seat at the back with him. They set off to the so called 'home' Nick was telling her about. They drove past the main road and entered a more peaceful road with very few luxurious cars. Niffie smiled as she saw a Toyota Supra identical to theirs pass them.

They drove for about an hour and a half then began to slow down as they neared a huge black metallic gate. It was made with widely spaced rails so anyone could see the inside compound. The gates automatically opened itself and the car began moving again. The road seemed to be heading up a hill. There were flowers arranged on each side of it . From a distance, Niffie could see a huge mansion. It was white in colour and had many rooms . There was a building next to it. She assumed it was the servants' quarters as she could see people dressed in matching black and white outfits moving out from it.

"We moved to a secluded area since I know you don't like the noise in the city. The place is so big so I'll take you around after you've made yourself at home, " he paused a a second, "or you can walk around yourself. I know how much you love adventures," he chuckled but she showed no reaction.

The car came to a halt. Nick got out as the chauffeur ran to open for her the door. She followed Nick inside. It was beautiful but she was too tired to notice the details. She would do it another day.

Nick led her up the two-way stairs then they took an escalator to the fifth floor. That was where their room was. As he opened the door, she yawned. The room was so big. At the corner was a huge , white king-sized bed with matching white beddings. Not far from it, was a huge white dressing table that had a huge white mirror attached to it and multiple cosmetics placed on it. Behind the door was a number of white wardrobes Wich she hoped would be opened after a quick shower.
