Chapter 4 - "Window"

Because she couldn't sleep because of the sound, she finally woke up and tried to find about the sound.

She sat up, but the rain was still going on, she saw the TV was still on and Gabriel was sleeping near the end of the sofa.

She again remembered the open window earlier, and the TV news about Foster Yun who managed to escape from prison.

Jane is a very alert person in everything, she doesn't let small details be left behind because since she was little she was always taught to understand, and remember the small details of everything by her father.

The footsteps grew louder, and this time Jane tried to pretend to be asleep to see if it was something dangerous.

She couldn't look back because she was sleeping facing the TV, she could only hear the footsteps, she was curious about whether it was a human or a ghost.

Suddenly the lights went out, she realized it must be a human, because a ghost couldn't possibly do something like that, this time the whole Mansion was dark, she couldn't see anything.

She remained silent and did not make a single sound so that nothing terrible would happen to them.

This time the sound of footsteps got louder and closer, Jane had difficulty focusing this time because she was afraid of the danger that was attacking her.

And that's when she accidentally opened her eyes and someone had stabbed her, shocked because she couldn't see the face clearly she was very panicked and scared.

But at that time the knife had stabbed her heart, she could no longer ask for help or move, she thought whether this was the end of her life, whether this was the curse as said.

"Is this the end of my life, I should have chosen not to run away!" muttered Jane seeing a lot of blood

At that time she saw the last seconds where Gabriel, who was sleeping, was also stabbed. Scared to the point of crying, she finally closed her eyes.

But suddenly at that time she opened her eyes and woke up, she saw herself sitting in the bushes.

Suddenly, the stabbing pain vanished. Jane gasped, her heart racing. Her hands were shaking, but there was no blood. Just bushes. Just the rain.

"This is my first time in this Mansion, is this a second chance at life?" ask Jane confused

"Who are you?" ask the guy voice to Jane who just experience something terrible

"Oh, nothing, I just want to take a stop here for a while because it's raining, Now I have to go home!" said Jane to Gabriel

"Are you one of the journalists who tried to write down my conversation with my girlfriend earlier?" ask Gabriel grab Jane hand

"If this is my second chance I have to run away from here before I get killed!" muttered Jane inner thought

"No, I didn't bring anything, I really just wanted to take a stop for a while because it was raining!" said Jane push away Gabriel hand

"I've met a lot of journalists who act like that, you must be one of them!" said Gabriel to Jane

"Why is he suddenly like this, did he let me in because he thought I was like this too?" muttered Jane trying to run away

"Where do you want to run, You better hand over what you have written or recorded to me if you want to be free!" said Gabriel looking at Jane

"No, I don't know anything!" said Jane after that running away

She ran as fast as she could out of the mansion, she finally returned to the night market there, this time she had to survive, she didn't want to miss this chance to life.

At that time, the two bald bodyguards saw Jane soaking wet running in the heavy rain, they immediately took action.
