Chapter 3 - "Creepy Smile"

"Sir, we have tried hard to catch up with Miss, but suddenly it started raining, so Miss is lost, we are now taking shelter under the night market, right Loid?" said the first bodyguard on the phone to Fred

"Yes, by the way I want to buy this grilled skewer again, it tastes good!" reply the second bodyguard

"You both, what a stupid baldies!" said Fred then hang up the phone

"Jane, now you're causing me trouble, what else can I do to explain to the Tang family?" said Fred searching for Jane number on his phone

"Is it okay for you to let me in that easily?" ask Jane confused

"It's fine, I always try to be friendly after meeting Kate, she's the one who changed me into the person I am now!" reply Gabriel

Suddenly Jane's cell phone rang, she saw it was her father's number, so she ignored it.

"Aren't you going to answer your phone?" ask Gabriel to Jane

"Huh, is there a phone call, All I've heard so far is the sound of pouring rain!" said Jane to Gabriel

The phone rang again, but Jane insisted on speaking to Gabriel.

"How about I explain to you why I'm here!" said Jane to Gabriel

"Can you answer the phone first, It's a bit annoying!" said Gabriel to Jane

"Oh yeah, I got a call I just realized he-he!" said Jane rejects the call

"So now are you going to listen to me?" ask Jane to Gabriel

"You just rejected him, who knows maybe it's a friend who's looking for you?" ask Gabriel feeling uncomfortable

"It's not just an unimportant person, just a scam call!" said Jane faking a smile to him

...Tang Residence...

"Madam, I received a report from the Yu's, that Miss Yu ran away from home, and it seems like she won't be coming tomorrow!" said a servant to Julia Chu, who is a little older now

"Ran away from what, Have they found her already, tomorrow everything must be done?" ask Julia who is drinking her tea

"Mom, it would be better if you don't force them if they both don't want to be together!" said Sarah Tang, Edward Tang, and Julia Chu youngest child

"You mean Miss Yu ran away because she didn't want to be in an arranged marriage?" ask Julia to Sarah

"Yes, if not, why would he run away, she must have a boyfriend too, just like brother!" said Sarah to Julia

"Your brother is not suited to a supermarket worker, whatever it's like Kate, he is more suited to a highly educated woman like Jane!" said Julia to Sarah

"And you better shut up and go to sleep, I'll try calling them first!" said Julia trying to make a phone call

"Oh Hello, Mr. Yu, I just want to make sure if what my servant said is true?" ask Julia on the phone to Fred

"Yes, that's right, she ran away from here, I don't know where, but I got information from my bodyguard that she's in city Z, but now because it's raining we can't find her, maybe later after the rain was gone!" said Fred to Julia on the phone

"Oh alright then, make sure you found your daughter, or you will have to handle the consequences of the agreement!" said Julia with a sweet smile then hung up

Fred made a contract agreement with Edward to work together as fellow companies, and now they are planning to marry their two children to keep their relationship running smoothly.

But who would have thought, the two children did not want this, and instead one of them ran away, and the other one wanted to sever ties with the family.

...Mansion...

"You'd better go change clothes first, there are some women's clothes here!" said Gabriel pointing the room to her

"Oh yeah, okay then I'll go change clothes first!" said Jane walking to that room

At that time, there was a window in that room, and Jane saw that the window was not closed properly, so she tried to approach it and wanted to try to close it.

"Hey, the clothes' room is on the right!" said Gabriel suddenly appears at behind made Jane shocked a little

"Oh what, I just wanted to have a look!" said Jane gave him another creepy smile

She then tried to close the window and lock it, after which she left the room and went to the next one.

After changing clothes to a new pajama, and taking her short wig off, she went to the living room to sit down, but Gabriel wasn't there, she immediately thought of something.

"Where is he, why isn't he in the living room, did someone break in through that window and kidnapped him?" muttered Jane started wandering something

Panicked Jane walks around the corner of the Mansion to see if anything suspicious is happening.

"Why are you walking like that, is something wrong?" ask Gabriel again suddenly appears who just finished taking a shower

"Oh, I was just looking around just like before!" said Jane to Gabriel

"You've been acting really weird, can you be a little normal?" said Gabriel walking to the living room

"Thank God he's okay, but why do I feel like there's something strange about the window in the room earlier?" muttered Jane in her inner thought walking to the living room

"By the way, earlier you said that you ran away from home, did something happen?" ask Gabriel curious

"Oh yeah my family forced me to marry someone I didn't know at all, just like you, and I didn't want to, so I ran away!" said Jane to Gabriel

"I never thought that in this day, there would still be people doing this to their children!" said Gabriel after hearing Jane story

"It's sad, but that's the reality!" reply Jane to him
