Chapter 2 - "Night Market"

"I'm so tired, I think I'll get leg cramps tomorrow!" said Jane while massaging her feet a little

While she was sitting, it suddenly started to rain, so Jane had no choice but to run away from there, and she didn't know where she was running and ended up at a large fence near a place she didn't know at all.

When she saw that the gate was unlocked, she immediately went in because there were two tall buildings inside. She saw a building with lights, so she hid there for a while.

But when she wanted to walk to the the roof over there, she heard the sound of the door of the Mansion opening, she immediately hid near the bushes.

"Kate, please listen to me, I don't want to leave you, I will try to find a way so that you are the one I marry later!" said Gabriel Tang, the son of Edward Tang and Julia Chu who is already older now

"I don't want to talk about this anymore, your mother doesn't really like me either, just because I'm an ordinary person who doesn't have a good background!" said Kate Fang, Gabriel girlfriend

"Kate give me another chance, I will leave everything and marry you!" said Gabriel holding Kate hand

"Don't act stupid Gabriel, if you marry that woman your family won't fall apart!" said Kate letting her hand off from Gabriel

"I don't know her at all, how can I marry her without knowing who she is!" said Gabriel looking frustrated

"I need some time to take a break from our relationship, see you later!" said Kate to Gabriel

"Can I drive you home?" ask Gabriel to Kate in the middle of rain

"No, I've ordered a cab, it's here and one more thing!" said Kate to Gabriel

"When you meet that woman, Jane Yu, don't tell her that we used to date, so she won't be sad!" said Kate then get in the cab

Jane was hiding there while listening to the conversation, without realizing they were talking about her.

"I heard Gabriel's name being called, and also my name being called, is it a coincidence that I arrived at the Tang family home?" muttered Jane in shock

"Or is it just someone who has the same name by chance, that must be it?" muttered Jane hiding behind the bushes

When she was wandering when the rain would stop, suddenly a cockroach appeared in the bushes, making her scream in surprise.

"Damn, I'm going to die this time, don't let them find out, please, please!" muttered her panicking a little

"What's in there, why do i hear screams?" ask Gabriel holding an umbrella standing behind the bushes looking around

"Just a cockroa... ch...!" reply Jane suddenly freeze

"Damn I just answered!" muttered Jane in her inner thought with an awkward smile looking up to Gabriel

Gabriel was a little shocked, he thought he had just seen a ghost, but it turned out it was just a girl with messy hair covered with a bit of leaf.

"Hi!" greet Jane with an awkward smile to him

Jane realized that the man was really Gabriel Tang, exactly the same as the one she saw in the picture.

"Who are you, why are you here, Are you one of the journalists who will protest about our company again?" ask Gabriel holding the umbrella

"It's not that, I just want to avoid myself from the rain, and what a coincidence the fence here was open, so I took shelter here...!" explain Jane looking awkward and giving a little creep awkward smile

"Alright, that's enough, stop explaining, and don't smile like that anymore, it's creepy!" said Gabriel to Jane judging her

"Yes sir!" reply Jane still giving an awkward smile to him

After that Gabriel let Jane into the Mansion to warm herself. It turns out that the inside of the mansion has been decorated magnificently, and arranged like a wedding house. And this Mansion she had seen in the newspaper several times.

"The rain tonight is very cold, and here is some warm water for you!" said Gabriel handing her a cup of warm water

"Oh yes, thank you, you are very kind!" said Jane put the warm water on the table

"Don't mind the surroundings, this is just...!" said Gabriel trying to explain

"Oh you're getting married soon?" said Jane pretend not to know

Jane was shocked because Gabriel actually didn't know her. I mean, I don't know the shape and the look of her face.

"I felt offended because he didn't know me!" muttered Jane sipping her warm water

"It's not like that, it's more like an arranged marriage, I've never met that woman before!" said Gabriel to Jane

"Ohhh is that so!" said Jane sipping more of her warm water

"I still don't know your name, what's your name?" ask Gabriel to Jane

"Oh yeah, my name is Christy, Christy Wei!" said Jane with a smile, after using her friend's name as a disguise

"Gabriel Tang!" reply Gabriel to Jane with a judging look because of her creepy smile

"Can I be honest, I was hiding and accidentally overheard you arguing with your girlfriend?" said Jane look at Gabriel

"That, it's not a problem, it's just that my mother is a bit of a complicated person!" said Gabriel to Jane

"Oh yes, can I be honest, I've seen that your gaze is quite creepy, can you be a little more normal!" said Gabriel to Jane

"Oh yeah sorry, I'm a bit used to being like that with my friends!" reply Jane this time looks normal

"Is the curse already in effect, I haven't even married him yet, oh god please help me, I don't want to die young?" muttered Jane in her inner thought looking around the mansion
