Katherine Pov

We went to Bora Bora cafè as planned but someone is in danger right now. Estrella was throwing daggers at Noah who followed us and she obviously doesn't approve of this.

"Why are you here Noah? Don't you have friends?" She asked not looking pleased at all. "It's just been two days since I came here Ella, this is new to me, I can't help it. I also feel weird hanging out with only girls don't any of you have a boyfriend?"

At the word boyfriend her stare beame more hard. "Don't make fun of single people because you're riding the same boat" Vela said glaring at him. "Yeah" Jade nods her head.

"You guys leave him alone. He is our friend too" I said and Noah winked at me for taking his side. "What about you Noah? No girlfriend?" I smirked and his face turned red.

"No…umm….I wanna focus on my career" He said blushing. He's cute just like…..Jordan, Stop thinking about him Katherine. You're whipped.

"I'll treat you guys for coming uninvited" Noah pulls out his black card, "That's my boy" Estrella cheers and gives him a very rare dimple smile, She was really happy because she was supposed to pay today.

I and Estrella ordered the chocolate lava cake with a cup of coffee with lots of cream. Vela ordered the red velvet cake, Jade ordered her lemon bar. Amara ordered a fruit cake, a cake which has lots of nuts in it. Personally I hate that cake.

Noah loves orea, so he is having oreo chocolate cake. We all start emptying our plates when Rose walks to our table. She is the owner of this cafè, her hair is naturally red just like Vela, that's where the name comes from actually. She is a petite lady in her 30s happily married to her grumpy husband who has a love-hate relationship with us because we take his lovely wife's time.

"You guys came after so long, I was worried. Is everything alright?" Rose frowned, her onyx eye showed how worried she was, her pale skin indicates that she was a vampire in her past life. Period. And the best part is she has freckles and she is sweet just like her baked goods.

"It's just been two days, that's not long" I said "that's long for me child, I didn't get to see my lovely customers" She pats Jade who was busy admiring the sky.

"It's exam season, so we got a little busy" Amara explained "Oh! Work hard then, All the best for your exams children" She fist her hand in the air. She noticed Noah hiding beside Estrella "Oh my! Who might this handsome boy be?" She asked

"I got caught," he thought out loud. It must be awkward sitting only with girls."Rose, this is my cousin Noah, Noah, this is Rose, owner of this cafè and our friend" Estrella introduced them.

"It's nice to meet you Miss Rose" he pulls out his hands from his pocket to shake "You can just call me Rose, don't need to be so formal" She shakes his hand. "Enjoy yourself children, I will look into my other customers and do not forget the free lemon bars Jade" Rose said and leave us.

"I love you" Jade shouts with her mouthful of lemon Bars and I laugh at her. Now if you ask me why Jade gets the free lemon bar is because she is a part time waitress here.

Rose took her in even if she was 17 because she was having a family problem, Jade never talks about her family nor do we force her to speak. She will speak when she is ready.

Noah Pov

I watched Katherine and Estrella getting high on sugar. Right now Estrella was talking about her weird dream which was actually quite weird. And I never heard her talk this much before it must be sugar talking. It's like they both are drunk.

"You guys I had a weird dream" Estrella sipped her chocolate shake. I don't think that's good for health but I don't want to die by trying to snatch the drink from her.

"Really me too buddy me too" Katherine slurs "you go first" Kat told and Estrella starts, "So, I saw Jayden in my dream" Estrella blurts and everyone gives her attention on the table. It was the first time she was talking about a boy.

"The cute puppy Jayden, we were in a relationship but…….but……" Her eyes get teary. "Speak up bro" Vela encouraged her "but he impregnated five girls" I choke on my coffee.

"What?" Vela shouts in disbelief, Exactly. What in the world is she dreaming? "Oh no, that must hurt" Katherine cries. "He cheated on me" Estrella starts crying "it hurts right here" She points at the right sight of her chest.

Vela puts Estrella's hand on the left side where the heart is supposed to be. "Here, here" Vela says "Right" Estrella cries. "It was just a dream" Amara sighs, "but how can he impregnate five women" Katherine shakes her head in disapproval.

"He doesn't deserve you" Katherine cups her cheeks and they both cry on each other's arm. Amara sighs, Jade seems to enjoy the drama. Vela wipes both of their tears like it was normal to cry over a dream. Unbelievable.

And I sit there and watch the drama, Should I cry or laugh. I don't know what to do? I need friends asap. And I will make sure it is a boy.

"I hate people who cheat," Katherine mumbles in my ear, her breath tickling my ears and I am sure it turned red. I was giving a piggy ride to Katherine to her house because it was two blocks away from the cafè.

Vela gave me the responsibility to make sure she reached home safely or else she would cut off my balls. I shivered from remembering the threat, now I know why they are best friends.

I reached her home but it was locked. I put her down but have a tight hold on her so that she doesn't fall off. "I'm so tired, I want to sleep" She mumbles while I unlock the door with the key given by Vela.

She stumbles in with me. "Bed? Bed? Where is the bed?" She rushed to the stairs and was about to fall but before she could fall I caught her.

"Careful there we don't want your nose broken love" I picked her up bridal style and moved towards the only room upstairs. That must be her room. I lay her down gently on the bed and opened her shoes. Tucked her inside the blanket and got ready to leave when she held my hand suddenly.

"Love? Why do you call me love?" She opened her honey brown eyes and stared right into my soul. I admired her full lips. She has grown up a lot. It was so long ago that I saw her this close, she was just 12 years old.

But she hasn't changed at all, she is still a clumsy, bubbly Katherine who hates to dance. How should I answer her question? That I missed her? That I didn't wish to leave her? That I like her?

It's too late. She likes someone else, you lost your chance Naoh it's better to stay away. But will I? Can I stay away from her?
