Katherine Pov

"I want to be the friend you hopelessly fall in love with" Unknown. I smiled and and replied back.

Katherine- Wish you were real Mr. Aaron warner

Unknown- I wish you were not real Miss Katherine Williams.

Katherine- How did you get my number Noah?

Noah- I stole it from Estrella don't tell her that I know her password though, pretty please🥺

Katherine- When did you start reading books, that too my favorite one.

Noah- From the moment you told you date men who are written by woman. I am learning from them and Aaron warner was the best teacher.

Katherine- Are you flirting Noah?

Noah- Is it working Katherine?

Katherine- Sorry to break your heart but, Nope.

Noah- Ouch! You just wounded my heart Katherine.

Katherine- Lol, Juliette will heal it for you.

Noah- But I like clumsy female leads.

Katherine- You're hopeless Noah

Noah- Yes, hopelessly in love with you.

Katherine- Good try.

Noah- A man can try, lol.

After his unsuccessful flirting Noah went back to his normal quirky self and we talked about books. Not school books obviously.Soon it was time for dinner and we said our goodbyes.

I reach my hand to turn off the alarm clock but instead if fell off the table with a thud. "Well what did you expect Katherine" This was the third time I broke the alarm clock. I got up and freshen myself.

I walked to the kitchen to find a note and a plate of pancakes with a glass filled of orange juice. I drank the juice while reading the note. "I know the alarm clock is dead. Rip. No more alarm clocks, adjust with your phone. Your mother already left at 6. P.s you're late for school"

I looked at the clock to find it was already 8. Oh no oh no oh no no no no no. I packed my bag quickly and run out of my house knocking the plant in the process. "Ow!" I skipped at one leg. I was definitely going to miss the bus. And I did I missed the bus.

I was panting at the bus stop for breath. When I got startled by Noah in his bike. "You scared me" I shout "And I think you need help" He hand me the extra helmet. "Oh no I'm not getting on that thing" I passed him his helmet back.

"Do you want to be late? the next bus will arrive 30 mins later" He pushed the helmet back to me. "I can walk to school" I pushed it back. "Are you sure? I can wait here for eternity and we both will be late" He said stubbornly drumming the helmet with his fingers.

I huffed and stomp my legs in frustration. He looked amused when I wore the helmet with a pout and sat back. He took my hand and wrapped it around his waist. "I am gonna huant you for life, if I died."

"Don't you trust me love?" He looked back with a serious face "I…..do trust you" I answered seriously and his playful look came back instantly. "You won't ever forget this ride" He started the bike. "Do you have a driver's license, hell are you even legal" I asked wrapping myself more tightly in fear.

"No to both answers but your friend is rich as **** Katherine" Before I could say something more, he took off in full speed and I hold him for dear life. "I hate you Noah Matisse" I shouted and he laughed at my misery.

After the dreadful ride, I got off his bike and gave his damn helmet back which he didn't caught in time and it fall on the floor and all my anger fade away by looking at the broken helmet. I looked at the broken helmet my eyes closed to tears. I must be cursed. I am pathetic. I am a loser.

"Hey hey! It's not your fault I didn't caught it." He wipes my tears and lifts my chin "And I am rich as ****" At that I choked a laugh. "Cocky bastard" I whispered but he heard it. "I heard that love" Before he could catch me I ran off laughing.

"I thought you wouldn't come to school" Jade said playing with her spinner "I woke up late" I said taking out my book. "And Noah gave you a ride" She said raising her eyebrows. "How do you know?" I asked confused.

"Gossip" She answered simply, the teacher came before I could interrogate her more. The classes went as usual, I didn't ran into Jordan or Noah.

"Kat Kat Kat!" Amara came running to me. "You won't believe what I saw" She exclaimed in happiness. "Estrella smiled at a boy, can you believe this. She freaking smiled! Oh my God I feel like I could dance right now."

"Who is the boy?" I asked in excitement. "Jayden from arts and music. The golden retriever boy" She said and I nodded. I am not the only one having a crush. We were talking about Estrella's future kids with Jayden when Someone pushed passed Amara and didn't even look back to say sorry.

"Oh my God, Are you okay" I picked her up from the floor and looked back to see the Jerk walking away without any care. "Hey! Asshole, Are you blind?" I rushed to him furiously "it's okay, let it be" Amara hold me back.

The boy looked back at me and Amara with a smirk and walked away without saying anything. What an asshole. "Hey, calm down. I'm fine" Amara reassured me "No, you're too good for this world and he is an asshole" I spat furiously.

"Stop saying bad words, it doesn't suit you" She hit my head "why are you hitting me. I'm on your side" I asked in disbelief "because you used a bad word. I need to find a solution to stop you all to spew such bad words" I sighed, I can't with this girl.

"Let's go, Jade is going to play basketball."

"THAT'S MY GIRL!" Vela shouts out loud when Jade goals the ball on the basket and gains one point ahead the rival team. I and Amara jump in happiness hugging each other while Estrella nods her head with a straight face. I know she is cheering the hell out inside her head.

Jade Snatches the ball again and leads the team to victory. "Woah! We won! We won! We won!" We all chanted except Estrella and grouped hugged. Estrella gives her rare smile hugging us back.

Jade runs to us with a big smile. Amara hands her the water bottle and towel to wipe her sweat like the mommy she is. "You did great" Estrella said with a smile her dimples becoming more visible.

"You kicked their asses girl" Vela bumps her shoulder with Jade. "You were amazing" I nodded my head furiously while punching the air with my closed fist to be more dramatic and show how she slayed.

"Thank you, You guys are the best" She gave a flying kiss and grinned widely. The girl captain of the basketball team shouts for Jade. "I'm coming" She shouts and walks off to them.

"Jade tie your shoe laces" Amara shouts and she stops in her track and looks back and then looks at her shoe laces. She bends down to tie her shoe laces, I saw Alexander knight busy in his phone and walking at Jade's direction.

He didn't notice Jade and- I am too embarrassed to say this……I don't wanna say this, Everyone who saw the scene was picking their Jaw from the floor. He thrusted his hip on her ***, how do I explain this, he- I wish I was blind.

Jade Pov

I was tieing my shoe laces when I feel someone push me lightly but I could feel something hard. It was big but who cares, I got up and turned to see a boy. So it was his **** poking my ***.

He has a round face with round cheeks which was turning abnormally red and plum lips. I want to taste that lips, it looks so soft and red. Can I taste his lips?

"I'm so- sorry, I'm so sorry I…didn't..see I'm sorry this look so bad. I'm sorry it was not on purpose I swear. I was not looking." He tried to explain himself but I was too busy admiring his lips.

"Huh" I said snapping back to attention. "I am sorry miss, I was not looking straight" he said his whole face turning red with embarrassment. There's nothing to be embarrassed though, mistakes happens.

I should ask what lip balm he uses to makes his lips look so soft and red. "I like your lips, it's pretty" I said and he looked at me in disbelief. Well, I get this look most of the time. People say I am weird but am I?

I think I'm just different. "What?" He said with wide eyes. People can't take compliments nowadays. I shake my head and left him standing there dumbfounded. Should have complimented his **** instead, I heard men like that. It's good for their male ego.

But how would I know I don't have a dad, well I don't think my father would have told me to compliment men's ****. I do have a mother though, Amara. She is my mother. I do have a family, my friends are my family. I am not alone and I am definitely not depressed. I am as normal as I can be.

I walk to my soon to be captain of the basketball team. "You called" I said and she closes her mouth shaking her head. I looked the way the boy was standing but he was gone. He could win a marathon by how fast he is running right now.

"You- umm you're selected, you can join the practices from tomorrow onwards, after getting the consent of your parents for staying back at school for practices" She said giving me the form and I took it without complaining.

I didn't told her that I don't have a parents. I didn't told her that my guardian aka my aunt ran away with all the money that I saved from the scholarship I got. I'll just give some excuse like I usually do.

I'm dying to watch a BL right now. I walked to my friends who were surprisingly silent, too silent for my liking. "What?! I asked. "You-that boy, umm…what happened" Kat said in confusion.

"He decided to ****** his **** on my ***" I said innocently but my words were not innocent and I know it but do I care? The answer is No.

Estrella looks at me with a straight face, she never changes her facial expression that must hurt, to have a straight face the whole time. I did tried to make her laugh but she never does, but today she smiled at me.

I felt happy, really really happy. Vela closes her mouth not saying anything, Amara shakes her head and holds my shoulder and starts to drag me away. "I am going to take you to a mosque to clean your head, then we are going to church to get some holy water" She tells me.

"Okay mom" I said. "But I want to go to Bora Bora cafè first, I'm hungry" I said rubbing my stomach. "After school J, we still have detention" Estrella says. "Let's skip detention" Vela announces. "That's a bad idea" Kat says.

"I agree with V" I nod my head. "Absolutely not" Amara glares at me and I pout at her.
