Chapter 3

Jordan Pov

After successfully avoiding half of the population of school by eating at the terrace. My sacred place I walked to my next class which is history. I won't bore you by telling you how deep my hatred for history is. It just sucks and I can't seem to swallow.

That's so bad Jordan. I shake my head at my inappropriate wordings when I saw some girls getting out of the principal's office. And I saw a familiar girl in the crowd. Miss Panda girl, and I am saying this because she is so cute and clumsy.

And I like how she always gets flustered whenever I am around. I hid myself behind the pillar when they walked my way. "I love you so much for doing that Vela, but you gotta stop getting in trouble because of me" Miss Panda said and the redhead just shrugged.

The blonde girl back hugged my Panda…..I mean Miss Panda who looked sad but grateful. "We're in this together" She smiled, cheering her up. "And he deserved it anyway, you could have died" the raven haired girl said coldly.

"Now you're exaggerating it Ella" She laughed "whatever Alien" Ella said rolling her eyes. That must be a nickname for her and by the looks Miss Panda looked happy hearing that nickname.

"Guy's I still can't believe, I caught the ball" the brunette said out of nowhere and the girls sighed, not looking surprised. They walked past me fully and the last thing I heard was detention for a whole month. Sounds Interesting and I just know what to do to avoid history.

Katherine Pov

After the detention we said our goodbyes. I was waiting for my bus when I felt a familiar presence. I turned to him hoping he was not looking at me but damn how wrong I was he was staring right into my soul.

"This feels like destiny, doesn't it" He gives his bunny smile which was so cute that I wanted to just grab his cheeks and squeeze it. "Hii" I squealed, feeling embarrassed to even make that sound.

He gave a sexy smirk by looking at my reaction. This man knows what he is doing and I want to scream out of my lungs and squeal in happiness.

"By the way Jordan at your service" He pulls out his hand from his pocket for a handshake.

"Kat….Katherine Williams" I stuttered, I just had to stutter didn't I. I hid my red face by covering it with my hands and he laughed at my misery. "That must hurt right?" He touched my nose gently and pulled away instantly like I burned him.

"It hurts at times but it's alright. I am used to it by now" I shrugged and he frowned. He wanted to say something but I saw my bus coming and cut him off. "My bus is coming, I should get going. It was nice talking- I was walking backwards and didn't see my steps but before I could fall he caught me "to you" I finished awkwardly hanging in his arms.

"I Got you" He said smiling softly at me. My heart skipped a beat and before it could run a marathon. I got up on my feet and pushed him lightly and rushed to my bus with a very obvious red face. I sat at the very end and looked out the window to see him waving at me.

"I'm back home mamma" I said walking straight at the kitchen and opening the fridge to chug a bottle of water to cool down. "How many times did I say wash up before you touch anything after coming from outside? You're gonna bring all the germs with you" Mom nagged at me and to make her more mad I kissed her cheeks and ran off to my room laughing.

"The audacity!" She shouts "Calm down Lisa, let the child breathe she just came back from school" I heard my father say. I collapsed in bed feeling really happy for some odd reason.

I pulled out my phone and went to chat. Going straight to the pinned group. 'President joon simp gang' And this is not Donald trump. This is our school hot president we all are whipped for except Vela. Who can't stand the guy for even a second and is displeased by our group name but the majority wins.

Katherine- Guys!! Guys Guys!!! Guess what happened at the bus stop.

(Amara) Sunshine🌝-what happened?

(Vela) Red💋- I'm curious

(Estrella) Moon⭐️- You broke your leg.

(Jade) Vinie🦋- Free ticket to weekend's concert

If you are curious, let me explain their name and emoji. Amara is obvious because she is such a sweetheart, I love Vela's red hair so the name and the lips. Estrella's name means star but she is obsessed with the moon and the irony. Jade is a great artist so the name came from the famous Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh.

And the reason I gave her a butterfly emoji is because she loves to explore things. She is trying to understand herself right now, she likes painting, sports and singing plus she wants to be a fashion designer. She is really talented but people think she is dumb because she doesn't talk much and lives in her own little bubble.

You will spill your whole secret to her and ask her to promise not to say anything to anyone and her reply will be "Huh" because she was not listening to you in the first place. She is iconic and cute and nobody can change my opinion. Back to my present self. You might have to scroll up and check what was going on because of my rambling.

Katherine- You're half correct Ella, I almost broke something of mine 😬

Katherine- You guys! Jordan talked to me and not only that he caught me like a damsel in distress before I fell on my *** and embarrassed myself more.

Red💋- Wow! Girl.

"Lunch is ready, come down Kat" My mom shouts "I'll be right there after 5 mins" and my door opens and a furious mom looks at me and my phone. "Is the phone going to feed your hunger Kat, I thought you already showered and look at you. You're still stuck with the phone" My mom sighed and I gave a sheepish smile.

"Before my mom kicks me out of this house because I haven't taken a shower yet, I gotta go. Love ya" I clicked the send button and quickly got up from my cosy bed.

"You sound like a typical Asian mom, mamma" I said "because I am an Asian child" She comes with the intention of kicking my *** but I get inside the bathroom while kicking the damn chair which was on the way. "Oopsie" I laugh out loud.

My mom shakes her head. After taking a shower, my legs take me to the delicious aroma coming from the kitchen. My dad serves the food which he made with his own hands. My dad is a chef in our little restaurant. My mom works in a company.

We don't really get family time like this. Dad most of the time stayed at his restaurant but he was not feeling well today so he stayed back home and trusted his best friend enough to run his restaurant safely. My mom took a day off to take care of dad but looking at him right now I doubt he is telling the truth.

He sometimes makes excuses to stay back but we need to work to live under a shelter. I love the way my dad is looking at my mom right now like he is so in love with this woman. Even if she nags his ear off. That's her love language.

"Sit down old man, you're not well" She sits him down and takes his job instead. He just smiles and does as she says. She serves us both the dish and we thank her and start eating without talking. That's the rule.

After finishing the delicious meal I get up to help my mother do the dishes but knock the glass of water instead. "Whoops! I did it again~" I sang. My mom shakes her head. "Go do your studies Kat, before you break all the plates" I pout. My dad pats my head in comfort and I go back to my room.

I start doing my homework while getting a little distracted and scrolling through Instagram and going back to studies again. After finishing all the assignments I plop to my bed. "Finally!" Nobody likes to study and those who do, God has blessed them with a good brain. They don't need to worry but it can't be said to me.

I check my phone again and see a message from an unknown number.

"Hey! Babe. I want to be the friend you hopelessly fall in love with"
