CHAPTER 4- THE VOICES

The school bell eventually rang and I felt very relieved,it was finally time to go home.

I was done with class today. I was putting the rest of my books in my locker when I was about to close the locker I got a very pleasant surprise.

AHHHH!! Percy you scared me, I screamed. I sorry, but I just wanted to introduce you to my friend over here,Percy replied.

That's when I noticed the figure behind him. He waved and said hi,I just waved back to not be rude.He then said hmmmm my name is Xander, like Percy said am one of his close friends and seatmate in our class.

I nodded in realization,no wonder your face seemed familiar, I replied.Nice to meet you Xander and I quickly walked away to avoid further introductions.I am just not that good with people.

As I was walking down the hall, I saw Pandora smiling and waving at me.I could only assume she had something to say.

When she was right in front of me,she greeted me with a smile. Sadie would you like to go out with us ,the a dinner not far from here,it will be fun ,Pandora said.

And who exactly is going with you,I asked. Oh you know,the usual...She replied with a wink.I gave out a light chuckle.No need I think am good, I have some homework to do any way,I replied.

Oh okay,It's alright I understand,She replied with a sad face. How could I say no to that face,I reasoned.I just gave her a slight pat on the shoulder and continued walking.

How did it go? Xander asked.Pandora replied with a nod. Don't worry she would come around eventually. Percy said.

I opened the door to my house and saw my mom In the kitchen and my siblings watching cartoons. uuh uuh mommy mommy Sadie is back, Zia said. How was school dear, mom said. It was alright, I replied and walked upstairs to my room. I quickly shut the door behind me and heaved a sigh of relief. What a long day, I reasoned out loud and it's gonna be like that all semester,I'm just going to have to survive.I tossed my bag on the chair next to my table and lay down on my bed with my face downwards.

My room was painted with different shades of blue and white.There was a huge window pointing outside.To the right was my chair and worktable.There was a bookshelf just above the work table and my wardrobe opposite it.I also had these star like horoscopes hanging right above my bed, I like them cos they glitter at night. There was an easel and a bunch of wools in the floor next to my wardrobe my furry bunny slippers where by my bed side .To the left was my bed where I am currently residing in.

I don't know if it was my imagination or something because I started hearing very faint voices from all around me.Then suddenly everything went dark it was like I was floating in a dark abyss.This feeling, I remember it so vividly In my mind. And that's when it struck me of my dream this morning.

I was so caught In getting into the bus that I hardly even remembered.I landed in the floor again with a loud thud. Men am not going to miss that, it hurt like crap. But this time around I wasn't scared my resolve was strong, I was going to talk to this people no matter what.

Is anyone there,I yelled.I obviously got no reply but I kept screaming and didn't get anything. Then all of a sudden the surroundings started closing in on me. I quickly started running towards the light but it was like the pathway just kept bringing me back to the very beginning. The voices started getting louder and everything was spinning around me.

Then everything stopped like as if time slowed down.The voice became clear and I heard "SADIE WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU". I then opened my eyes, I saw that I was back in my room and I kinda just dropped from the floor. OH COME ON!!!,I groaned in pain.

I could hear silent whimpering in my door and I saw my little brother Zayn there, He looked kinda scared.

sometimes I pity the kid ,he is always so shy and didn't talk much. Are you okay ,I asked while stretching my hand out to him. He just nodded.Mom says dinner is ready,Zayn replied. Okay I will be right down, I said .

The little champ was still looking at me worriedly.Whats's wrong, I asked. Why are you on the floor,Zayn replied.I took a look at my self and remembered oh right I was still crouching there. I stood up and cleaned my knees and looked at my little brother once more.Well run along and shut the door behind you, I said.He nodded and did as I said.

I took a step forward to my bed and winced in pain,my knee was bleeding. I started panicking I hope nothing was brocken.But this is bad, I reasoned as I sat on the bed.Why am I getting hurt in real life like those dreams .I need to gather more information on what Is going on first before things get out of hand.

I heard my phone ring and I picked it up,it was a message from Pandora.She added me to a group on wechat. I just swiped through the messages and saw that the group was made today.Probably after their outings.

There where like 14 members which comprised of Me of course,Pandora,Millicent,Percy,Xander,Storm,Wendy,nick,Cassie,Brooklyn and Hayleigh.I don't really know that last set of people maybe I should ask Pandora at school tomorrow. I continued swiping and saw a group photo they took today at the dinner.It was pretty cute, they all looked so happy, I couldn't ruin this group of friends.But my eyes caught Percy, he was so handsome, I could only wish.

But before I finished daydreaming I heard my mom yelling for me to come eat or the food will finish and I will just eat leftovers.I dropped my phone on the beds and dashed downwards.

"As Sadie left the room, handwriting cold be seen scribbled on the mirror and it said WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU.....".
