Chapter 3 PANDORA

We walked along the hallway while she was telling me about some important features. "okay, here is the cafeteria, and this is the library, that there is my class or I could say our class - class 3E", Pandora said.

We then walked to the locker area while she continued the tour. she said "this is my locker, locker 107 and the one next to mines is yours and..." But I stopped paying attention because I was staring at a boy behind of her.

I think she must have noticed because the next thing she said was "oh, I guess I have to introduce you to some people too. This here is Percy, my childhood friend and our locker buddy". He turned to look at us and waved. When he turned, ours eyes made content for like a second, but I just turned my face immediately to avoid any awkwardness.

Then I heard him chuckle under his breath. Percy was quite handsome, tall, with dark brown hair and brown eyes with a hint of gold on the lower edge.

He said when he put his hand down "hi, as Pandora has already said I'm Percy ". "And I'm Sadie", I replied.

Then I heard a loud ringing sound. "That's the school bell, let's hurry before we go to class late. The hall monitors on Mondays are sometimes ruthless", Pandora said while grabbing my hand and pulling me.

Then we quickly walked to class and took our seats. I sat on the third row near the window at one end of class. Pandora sat behind me with a dark girl with thick dark brown hair, while Percy sat opposite her with a boy who has blue hair. Then a blonde girl sat right next to me. She had long, thick hair and dark brown eyes.

"Hi I'm Millicent", the girl said. "Hi I'm Sadie" I replied. A middle aged woman entered the class and wrote 'Mathematics and Mrs. Dorothea' on the board.

I was glad that our first class was maths because I'm kinda like a pro in this subject. "It appears we have a new student in class today. We have to follow the Princeton high traditions in welcoming our new students. Please can you come to the front of the class and properly introduce yourself Sadie.", Mrs Dorothea said.

When I heard my name, I stood up from my seat and walked towards the front of the class. I heard a loud banging, kinda like a drum roll. I looked around the class and I some some students wearing sports jackets hitting the table. Then everyone else was cheering and clapping while I continued walking.

I finally reached the front of the class and stood next to our teacher. She gestured for me to speak so I said" hey everyone, my name is Sadie Purkins and I'm glad to meet you all". I bowed and walked back to my seat before I heard the cheering stop.

Class the entire morning went on as usual and now it was lunch time. Everyone left the class, some to the restroom, others to study hall and so on. I went tomy locker to put some of my books back before heading to the cafeteria.

While putting my books back, I felt someone lightly touch my hand so I instinctively looked back. "Pandora! oh... hey... whatsapp.", I stammered. She said " let's go the cafeteria and meet up with some of my other friends". I wasn't so sure about this but I just played along and followed her.

When we got to the cafeteria, it was almost filled. We walked to the counter. "Its a Monday so it's meatball monday", Pandora said with stars in her eyes. I'm guessing she loves meatballs.

We took our lunches and walked towards a table near the end of the cafeteria. While we were walking, she said " In this school, tables are for specified group of people. That there is the football club, and that is the chess club, the D n' D's, the superstar group, the class presidents and..." while pointing at the Various tables. "and this one here is the students council table were I am the council president", she said while dropping her tray on the table.

I dropped my tray next to her and just stood there. I felt kinda like and outsider and it didn't want to disrupt their group thing. "It's okay you can sit with us even though your not a member of the students council, well not yet", Pandora said noticing my unease.

That is when I noticed that Pandora, Millicent, Percy, the guy with blue hair and the girl with dark brown hair where all seated here. They all smiled warmly at me at gestured me to sit.

I sat down next to Pandora. Then the started another round of introductions. "This is Millicent, the guy with blue hair is Xander, the girl with crazy black hair is Storm and as you already know that is Percy." Pandora said while pointing at each of them and they each replied with a smile and a wave.

Lunchtime finished in a flash, then we all walked towards are respective classes. As Pandora and I were leaving the cafeteria, I felt someone watching me, so I turned back and noticed Xander was staring at me while he was talking to Percy. I just smiled back, then I say his face turn light red and he immediately looked away.

I giggled lightly because of his reaction, then Pandora ask "whatsapp". "Oh.. nothing " I replied while we entered our next class.
