so this story happen in a beautiful country named Genovia people in this country is really happy and celebrating to welcoming their upcoming ruler her name is isabella she looks more masculine and also handsome she is a Alpha so both boys and girls fall for her at first sight and lastly she is good at fighting so she become everyones idol

ISABELLA pov :

My dream of being married to a beautiful lady and having our own little family, crushed into million pieces when I found out that my supposed to be bride got pregnant . I was trying to open my heart for her. Being a princess and soon to be queen, I didn't have any choice when it comes to many things and my marriage is one such thing. So, when my father, the present king, made an agreement with the king of our neighbour country five years ago, I had no choice but to accept it.

After all this, now, suddenly my father says I should marry the younger sister of the lady who's the last heir of the family. This time, I wanted to shout at my father saying I won't marry her, cause I don't like her. Over the years I have seen her during the visits to their country, I realised how she is. She never mingles with her family and seem distant with them. she always stays silent and keeps her to herself.

Everone says that she is a beta and how come my father approved to marry her to me even she can't give us a heir to continue our hierarchy.

So I have no idea of how he even agreed to this. When I asked the same thing, he said, the promise is already made and we can't revoke it in any situation. That made me shut my mouth and now here I'm, standing infront of the elders along the said princess as we're getting married.

The ritual prayers were all chanted and we're left only with the rings.

When the elder told us to exchange the rings, we turn to face eachother and I put the ring on her much thinner finger in comparison with mine.

Later, she places the similar ring on my ring finger. And that made us official couple. I can take over my father's position and become the king/Queen.everyone likes to call me king other than calling me queen so yeah i like to hear that too....In our country, our custom is that once the king's heir is pronounced as married she would automatically take over the king's position making her the queen . So to say now I'm the Queen of our country.

Isabella lets head to the palace the celebration will continue. my mom says.

I nod at her and follow her as she starts walking.we all are arrived at the palace

My father directs me to the head chair where he used to sit. But now that I'm the queen it's my place from now on. By my seat is the chair for my wife where the princess settles down. The other chairs are occupied by the remaining people and our head cook starts serving us the food. Our plates are filled with all the variety of foods.

Usually I would eat until my plate is almost clean but today I don't have any appetite.

I look up when I hear someone calling me.

"Isabella, if you're done eating, we can leave." My mom asks and I nod at her with a smile.

I stand up and the others follow me. We leave the dining room and make our way to the living area.

"We'll take our leave now. It's been great being here. take care of my daughter the king says and they leave.

But they doesn't seem to bother. They bid us goodbye and princess mother hugs her before they leave.

Walking past the living area, I take the stairs to my room. When I reach, the guards open the big doors for me and I step in. Removing the long overcoat, I plop down on the bed and close my eyes. I'm tired, not physically but emotionally and mentally I'm drained. Just a week ago, I was excited about my marriage and going to be becoming the king. I know being a king for a country is not easy but I always wanted to be one. And the thought of my wife who's going to be by my side and helping me with the work made me happy.

But now all my dreams just remained as dreams which would never be fulfilled. Instead I'm stuck with a beta who I never thought of being with. It's funny as how fate plays but we have no choice but to act accordingly.

Sudden noises makes me alert and I immediately open my eyes before sitting up. I release a relief sigh when my eyes fall on none other than my wife she stares right at me and for a second I lost myself in her chocolate brown eyes. It's my first time seeing her face, I didn't look at her even during our wedding and without my knowledge I seem to observe her face and take in her features. the ones that caught my attention is her eyes and lips. her lips are red and plump and her eyes are dark brown and big she have a long black hair.Like, just few hours ago I told I don't like her but now I'm admiring her features. However I would be a fool if I won't appreciate the beauty that's in front of me. As I drown myself in her

I hear yet another sound which shuts my thoughts of her.

"What are you doing?"

"I accidentally let it fall. I'm trying to get it back to it's place." she answers, her voice so soft and small.

"Let it be, the servent will take care of it." I say and she nods before leaving the pot, "when did you get here?"

"I followed you and been in this room from the time you're here."

she followed me all the way but I didn't even know. she's so silent that I wouldn't even know it if she didn't make the sound.

"What's your name?"

Alexa." she responds"Let's just have a fresh bathe and sleep for the night." I suggest as the time is already past 9. It's not that early to sleep but thinking about the marriage from morning resulted in me being exhausted. And sleep doesn't sound bad.

"Aren't you sleepy?" I ask and she nods, "then go to sleep."

"Where do I sleep?"

"Sleep on the bed." I reply and she looks surprised, "it's more than enough to fit ten people. So two people can easily sleep on this. Also don't worry I won't do anything to you, I won't even touch you. I promise."

That makes her believe me because she starts walking towards the bed. Getting on the bed, she lies on the other side and turns off the light. Her back faces me and I do the same, turning my back to her. Many thoughts keep my mind occupied but exhaustion makes my body tired and I fall asleep within seconds while praying for a better tomorrow.
