I open the door to Malia's room and Angel run to her bed. Malia smile and I lift Angel up beside her.
"What a surprise. I didn't expect to see you two today."
"She has an appointment so I thought I'll just drop by."
"Well I'm happy to see you too."
We stay with Malia for a while before Angel start getting sleepy so I said my goodbyes and we leave.
She was asleep by the time we exit the hospital. I strap her into her seat and as I was going around to the driver's side a voice stop me.
"What do you want?"
"I just seeing how you've been."
"Fine. Can I go now?"
"Domenico let's go!"
"She called." I open the door and get in. I start the car and pull out of the parking lot.
I head straight home because there's not much I can do with a sleeping child.
Lia was home when I got home.
"How was it?"
"She's very healthy."
"That's good news."
I place Angel in the crib I keep in the living room and continue my work.
"I ran into Domenico at the hospital."
"Did he see Neveah?"
"She bumped into him but I get to her before he could. He was there with some woman. She seem like one of the entitled ones."
"Not surprise. His mom seems to like those."
"Because she's just like them. Not very surprising."
"He better not start something he can't finish."
He better not.
Several hours of nonstop typing and I was done. I send it in and stretch out on the couch.
"Dia! Someone is here asked for you."
So much for resting. I didn't even hear the doorbell or Lia probably saw the person.
I roll off the couch and walk to the door. Lia step aside and I look at the person. It was the woman that was with Domenico.
"Can I help you? Lia this is Domenico...girlfriend I guess."
"Fiance and I just came to tell you to not ruin my wedding. If you do the consequences won't be nice. Wouldn't want anything to happen to that little girl."
I fist connect with her nose immediate.
"How dare you come to my house and threaten my child. I don't know who you think you are but don't try my patience. I will end you. No one threatened my child and walk away without a bruise. Now get the hell off my property before I do it for you."
I slam the door in her face out of anger.
"Who does she think she is?"Lia asked. "You better go to the police with this because she's gonna tell some lie."
"You forgot we have cameras?"
"I did actually. She's crazy as hell."
She better not start any trouble because the last thing I want is my daughter in the middle of no drama.
