In storeroom

The assistant teacher growled, "Don't make me take off all your clothes, or you'll be ***** for the rest of the day."

He struck her again as his patience wore thin. Anika was sobbing uncontrollably. The door to the storage was unlocked just as he reached his hand to tear Anika's uniform.

Police officers and a few teachers entered. They were all taken aback. Niti was quickly covered by one of the female teachers. The constable went to apprehend the assistant teacher. Another teacher comforted Anika.

"Leave me, I am innocent," the assistant teacher yelled. "If you arrest me, my father will make you regret it. You have no idea how resourceful my father is, and he knows all of your seniors." The police inspector slapped him and stated, "We have seen many like your father, but none of them made us regret our actions. Let us see what your father is capable of."

The teachers took Anika and Niti to the teacher's room.

In the Teacher's room

Kartik sat nervously with a middle-aged man. He raced to Anika as soon as she walked in and asked, "Are you OK? Is it painful? Damn it! Why did you not wait for me? What would have happened to you and Niti if the cops had not arrived on time?"

Anika began sobbing once more. "I was terrified, but what would have happened to Niti if I had left her alone again? She has already been through a lot. My heart wouldn't let me leave her to face this alone again." "Thank you!" she exhaled, trying to hold back her emotions. "I and Niti are safe because of you. And I apologize to everyone for disturbing You as a result of my irresponsibility."

Anika and Niti were granted a one-week vacation from school because they had gone through a lot in a day. Mrs. Joshi arrived to pick up Anika, and she thanked Kartik and the teachers for their concern. Niti's parents also took her away.

In Eternal Sunshine Orphanage

Mrs. Joshi helped Anika by applying ointment to her face. "Are you hurt anywhere else?" she worriedly inquired. "Did he do anything wrong to you?" Anika reassured her that she had not been wounded elsewhere and that she was OK.

Mrs. Joshi breathed a sigh of relief. Then she chastised Anika for her carelessness and foolishness. "How can you go into the tiger's den by yourself? Do you have any awareness of your surroundings? You're so frail, how did you think you'd be able to stand against him? Idiot!"

"I'm sorry," Anika said, making a pathetic look with tears in her eyes. "I know I am physically weak but I am not that weak to leave my friend alone in danger. I will always be by her side." Then she firmly stated, "I will become strong like the earlier police officers and help society by punishing evils." Mrs. Joshi was so enraged that she couldn't breathe. "You are impossible." Then she stormed out of the room.
