Chapter 5

Lily's POV

We are currently staying at an apartment. Papa doesn't know about it. Mama bought this one. She looks so sad and gloomy. I broke a happy family.

Just then I get a call from Papa.

" Hello, Papa is everything alright? "

" Yes, Crystal has switched off her phone. I want to talk to her. " He states, his voice hard and cold. Is he angry at me?

" Papa are you angry at me? I didn't mean for that to happen. " I ask.

"It will be very good for you if you do as told. Give the phone to Crystal now " He orders in a dominating voice.

Great! He is angry at me too.

" Just cut the call Lily. I do not want to talk to anyone. " She says.

I put the phone down.

After a few minutes, Brandon starts calling too. I go to the other room and attend his call.

" Look Lily things have gone way to far. I do not want to fight further. Let's meet and talk. " He says.

" Ok. Message me the place. " I reply.

He messages me the place and I meet him there.

" Lily I am really sorry for hitting you. I was wrong and punish me as you like but you're breaking apart a family. Mom and dad will end up separating because of you. Please convince mom to come back. Please Lily I'm begging you. " He pleads. I don't want that to happen at all.

" I don't want that either. I'll talk to mama. "

I say, and head back home. Reaching home I see Papa already there. He is trying to convince mama too.

" Crystal what is Bella's fault in all this. For the sake of our children just come back. I will deal with Brandon myself. " Papa tries to explain.

" Mama I forgive Brandon, please don't fight because of me. " I say.

" Did Brandon apologize to you? " She asks.

I nod.

" Let's go back home please. " Papa says.

" Fine but Jake you have to promise me that this won't happen again." Mama says.

" I ensure love, it won't happen again. " Papa says, staring at me intensely. I feel like he is angry at me.

We all head home. Atleast a family isn't breaking because of me and now Brandon has apologized too.

I go back to my room. I decide to take a nap. I am woken up by a knock on my door.

" Come in. " I say.

It's Brandon. What is he doing here?

" What are you doing here? " I ask.

" I just wanted to talk Lily. " He informs.

He leans against the door and starts speaking.

" We haven't been on good terms, but just because of our silly fight, mother left the house. I don't hate you Lily. Sometimes I am mean to you, I mean very mean. But you frustate me too. You are ready to talk to any boy, even Drew but not me. I like you and that is why I can't bear any other man near you. It's not that I want to make your life miserable that I beat up Justin. I want you to be with me, not that Justin or Drew. Seeing you with Drew made me really angry and I lost control. I know you don't feel the same attraction. But Lily I liked you, and in a weird way I showed it  through my anger, I showed you my emotions. I'm sorry for all the pain I put you through. I just wanted clear out whatever feelings I had for you. Thank you for convincing mama to come back. "

" Brandon we don't have to be enemies. We can be friends. " I say.

" I wanna be more than just friends with you Lily. I really like you. " He says in his deep and husky voice.

" Then why would you hurt me? " I ask.

" I don't know. I just wanted to be close to you. If teasing you was the way, I thought so be it. " He explains.

" I know I've been an a**hole. Please forgive me? " He asks.

" I don't keep grudges. I forgive you. " I say with a smile on my face. We shouldn't keep grudges, they earn us no good.

" I hope you'll think about what I said. I really like you. "

He leaves the room after saying what he had to say, leaving me all confused.

Brandon has feelings for me? I mean both us never view each other as siblings at all. We were either enemies or nothing.

But now, I don't know what we are. I mean Brandon isn't bad looking either. He is every girl's crush. Do I have feelings for Brandon? Maybe...
