Episode 14

WITH MADISON

As I swiftly ascended the stairs, Leandro was right behind me. "Goodness, this man really enjoys the chase, doesn't he?" I seethed internally, continuing my sprint towards the room. Upon reaching it, my attempt to lock the door was thwarted as he opened it immediately, preventing me from doing so.

LEANDRO: "Don't think you can do that again," he said, frowning as he forcefully opened the door and pushed me into the room with him.

MADISON: "What now?" I exclaimed. "What will you do, huh? Will you abuse me?" I voiced angrily. "Well, let me tell you, even if you do, and you think I'll get used to it and fall for you, you're dead wrong. I could never fall for someone like you, an old pedophile. I swear you'll go to jail for this," I spat out, yelling in his face angrily. Abruptly, he raised his hand as if to strike me.

LEANDRO: "You'd better shut your damn mouth now, or else..." He was interrupted.

MADISON: "Or else what? You'll hit me!?" I retorted with wide, angry eyes. "It wouldn’t be the first time anyway. I don't see how you're any different from my parents. Aside from them, now you’re going to hit me too," I said, my voice stern yet breaking as I began to sob.

Leandro remained silent then punched the wall in rage.

LEANDRO: "Just one thing, brat: from now on, you belong to me, and you'll also marry me; you’re completely under my control," he declared, his tone severe and tinged with anger.

MADISON: "Ha, you wish. My parents will pay off the debt, and I’ll leave with them. They will come for me, I know it," I said firmly.

LEANDRO: "That won’t be possible," he said, showing me the papers. "They've already signed the marriage authorization, and in a few days, you’ll be my wife," he said with a smirk.

MADISON: "You're lying, damn it! It’s not possible; they couldn’t have done this, NO!" she sobbed while looking at the papers.

LEANDRO: "Oh, but they did. They didn't hesitate to accept because of the money," he claimed.

MADISON: "NO, it's not true!" she exclaimed, tearing the papers. "I WON'T MARRY YOU, I WON’T!" she declared before locking herself in the bathroom.

LEANDRO: "Like it or not, you're mine, brat," he proclaimed from the other side of the door. "Those were just copies; I have the originals. I knew you'd react like this. I expect you to come down and have dinner with me later," he said before departing with a triumphant grin.

WITH MADISON

CURSED, a hundred times CURSED! I don't know if I hate him more or my parents for this. My life is a complete disaster. When did everything change for me? Why does life hate me so much? I'm not a bad person. UGHH! I wish I could disappear right now," I mumbled, emerging from the bathroom and throwing myself onto the bed to sleep. Tomorrow, I'd speak to my parents about this. They owe me an explanation; this must be a joke. I can't believe it.

I had fallen asleep when a forceful knock at the door jarred me awake in an instant.

MADISON: "WHO IS IT!" I called out loudly.

MAID: "Miss, I apologize, but the gentleman is waiting for you downstairs for dinner," she conveyed through the door.

MADISON: "Tell him I won't be coming," I declared.

MAID: "Please come down, miss. He’ll be angry with us again," she implored with a sorrow-tinged voice.

MADISON: "Fine, I’ll do it for you; I’ll be down shortly," I relented, acknowledging it wasn’t their fault they worked for an idiot. I went to the bathroom to freshen up and change clothes, donning a beautiful dress and styling my hair up with strands falling loosely.

Descending, I found the idiot waiting, grinning foolishly. I rolled my eyes and sat down, then finally said,

MADISON: "And your girlfriend? Isn't she dining with us?" I inquired coolly, spooning food into my mouth.

LEANDRO: "She’s not my girlfriend," he was cut off.

MADISON: "Oh, right, not your girlfriend. Your future wife, I know; she told me. Don’t worry. But I don’t see why you want two wives. I thought that wasn't allowed here, but apparently, it is. Besides, you should take responsibility for the child that viper is expecting. It’s not the child’s fault to have such idiotic parents," I said coolly, eyeing him mockingly as I shook my head.

LEANDRO: "Look, brat, she’s neither my girlfriend nor my wife, and as for the child she’s expecting, whether it’s mine is not your concern. And don’t meddle in matters that don't concern you," he snarled, his brows furrowing.

MADISON: "You’re right. But all I want is for you to leave me alone. That's my point. Why do you have to do this to me? I’ve done nothing to you," I raised my voice.

LEANDRO: "FIRST, LOWER YOUR VOICE AND SHOW SOME RESPECT. AND SECOND, I WON'T LET YOU GO NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU ASK, SO YOU BETTER GET USED TO IT," he declared sternly.

MADISON: "AAAH, I DON’T GET WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU. I HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER YOU. I KNOW YOU'RE USED TO WOMEN OF A CERTAIN... TYPE THAT YOU FREQUENT IN THOSE PLACES YOU BROUGHT ME TO THAT TIME. BUT LET ME REMIND YOU, I'M NOT ONE OF THEM," I snapped angrily, furrowing my brow.

LEANDRO: "IT'S SIMPLE. I SAW YOU, AND I LIKED YOU," he exclaimed, suddenly standing up and slamming his hands on the table, making it shake.

MADISON: "Ha, don't make me laugh. You're sick, you damn fool," she said, standing up to head to her room.

LEANDRO: "I'm not done with you yet, Brat!" he yelled after her.

MADISON: "My name is MADISON, you damn fool!" she yelled back.

LEANDRO: "And I’m Leandro, brat!" he shot back, a sly smile creeping across his face.

Madison glared at him angrily and continued on her way. Leandro quickly approached her and gently grabbed her arm to stop her.

MADISON: "What do you want?" she asked tersely.

LEANDRO: "Don't flatter yourself too much. If you haven't noticed, this is my room," he replied sternly as he opened one of the wardrobes, revealing many of his belongings and clothing. "You'll be moving to another, so pack your things, or if you want to sleep with me, that's fine," he said with a smug smile.

MADISON: "Of course NOT!" she exclaimed, hurriedly gathering her belongings to move to another room.
