Dear Diary,

Why? Why? Why? Why am I so unlucky? Not even discovering Carter is dating Sophie wasn't enough now I had to run into them early in the morning. I even changed my route so that I could avoid meeting them. But my destiny has everything planned for me. GREAT!

Sophie: Ooooo! Hii! Iris. Long time no see.

Carter: Yeah. It's been so long.

Me: Well the summer vacation was quite long.

Sophie: Oh! Iris did you know me and Carter are dating.

Me: Yeah. Grace told me yesterday.

Sophie: See even the most popular boy Carter couldn't resist my charms.

Me: It does seem like it.

Sophie: So many girls are going to be jealous of me and so many boys of Carter. Well we are surely a great couple, completely meant for each other. (Sophie was clinging onto Carter)

Me: *nods

Sophie: It would have been so great if you were in our class.

Me: No, It's bette as I am with Grace.

Sophie: Whatever you say. Well then byeeeeeeee !

Me: Yeah bye.

Carter: Ummm......See you later Iris.

I started crying after they left.

Today's morning was so horrible. Like why on earth did I have to run into them???????

Grace came running towards me when I entered the class.

Grace: Iris- Iris are you alright. Why did you suddenly hang up the phone midway?

Me: Nothing I was really sad that's why.

Grace: You didn't meet into Carter or Sophie while coming here, did you?

Me: I did. Matter of fact I met both of them.

Grace: Oh no! But really they are even coming to school together. What happened to their cars?

Me: Oh! Sophie must have told him to come to school with her.

Grace: But why were they walking?

Me: Probably because Sophie wanted everyone to see that she is dating Carter.

Grace: Oh god! Couldn't Carter find a better girlfriend.

Me: ...................

Grace: Come on Iris don't be so down in the dumps. Oh! I have the perfect idea for cheering you.

Me: Don't tell me to listen to k-pop again.

Grace: Well I was going to tell you that only. But hey! They are so great. Have you heard about BTS, EXO, NCT, Stray Kids,.....

Me: and GOT7, Seventeen, Monsta X and you didn't even start telling the names of girl groups.

Grace: How did you know the names of so many groups????

Me: Remember how many times you have actually said me the names I even know the names of the

members.

Grace: But still you should try and listen to their songs.

Me: ...........well .........okay.

I really don't understand what she likes do much about them. Like one day she told me she became a super fan of BTS's RM and the next day she became a super fan of GOT7's Jinyoung. And she says things like she is a something known as a multifandom. I sometimes really don't get what's wrong with this girl.

This is Grace.

But I have a good news too. Today chemistry ma'am called me and gave me a notice. I did well in my exams and am still the top student of school so I will continue getting my scholarship. That's a huge relief. Atleast mom and dad don't have to worry about my school.

Oh! and the weird boy I talked about yesterday he is actually a transfer student and he transferred in my class today.

Teacher: Today we have a new student joining our class. Please introduce yourself.

The boy: Hello! My name is Zach and I am transferring here today. I hope we can be good friends. I am new in the city so I am looking forward for your help. Thank you.

Teacher said him to take the window seat right behind me. I could hear girls whispering that Zach is very handsome. Well but I still think that Carter is better looking than him. No no I am still thinking about Carter. Come on Iris you gotta forget about him. But it's really hard and I don't think I can ever stop liking him.
