NARRATOR

Dmitry, upon seeing Irina's distraught state, could only embrace and console her, hoping she would calm down. Amidst her tears, she kept repeating that it was them. Dmitry didn't know who she was referring to until she managed to compose herself, and he looked into her eyes, urging her to tell him who had killed her mother.

"My angel, who were they?" Dmitry asked.

"My father and his lover," Irina replied, bursting into tears again in her husband's arms.

"Don't worry, they will pay for everything they've done to you," Dmitry assured her. She didn't want to talk, just cry and be in her husband's arms.

Dmitry wheeled her into the bedroom, where they climbed onto the bed and held each other tightly. It was only when Irina loosened her grip upon falling asleep that Dmitry gave the order to destroy Irina's father and his wife, along with their daughter and Irina's ex-partner if there was any evidence of their involvement against her. He watched over his wife's sleep, comforting her during her nightmares. After a few hours, she woke up feeling very hungry. With her pregnancy, she needed proper nourishment.

"Are you alright?" Dmitry asked as he watched her eat.

"Yes," Irina replied, continuing to eat.

"My queen, you know you can tell me anything. How do you feel?" Dmitry inquired.

"I feel like a fool. I lived with my mother's killers and never said anything. I couldn't bring myself to expose them. I failed my mother," Irina responded angrily.

"That's not true. You were only a three-year-old child. Your mind blocked those memories, and no one ever helped you. You didn't fail her. They will pay for what they did," Dmitry remarked.

"I don't know what to do now," Irina said, confused.

"Don't worry, leave everything to me. I will send them to jail and take away everything that rightfully belongs to you. You don't have to do anything," Dmitry assured her.

"I don't know where I would be without you by my side," Irina said.

"The past doesn't matter. What's important is that we're together, and no one will ever separate us because you are my queen," Dmitry expressed.

"And you, my king," Irina smiled at him.

"Well, you should pamper this neglected king of yours. After all, you've had me waiting," Dmitry said playfully.

"Oh, what does my king want?" Irina asked.

"Let's go to the bedroom, and I'll show you what I desire," Dmitry said, lifting her onto his lap and leading her to the bedroom, where they became one again. Now, his wife expresses herself more, which he loves. He delights in hearing his name on her lips as he claims her over and over.

While they enjoy their time in the city, a very patient Victor takes excellent care of Celeste and Sol. He helps them in every way he can. In fact, the apartment they are staying in is his, and he adores looking after both of them, even though he still can't fully approach Celeste due to the abuse. However, Sol is very fond of him, and whenever she looks at him, she smiles, and he takes her into his arms, spending all his time with her.

"My daughter likes you a lot," Celeste comments, seeing her daughter happy in Victor's arms.

"And she is a beautiful angel to me," Victor replies, holding the beautiful child in his arms.

"Thank you for helping us," Celeste says.

"It's nothing. Do you have any plans now that you're free? The detective found that man tied up where you left him. What do you plan on doing now that you're free?" Victor asks.

"I don't know. I think I will go back to my career. Maybe after some time, I'll leave the city and seek a fresh start for me and my daughter," that made Victor afraid. He didn't want to stop seeing them.

"If you want, I can help you. I have many contacts, and I can find you work and a place to stay, so I can continue seeing Sol," Victor suggests.

"I'll think about it," Celeste responds.

Celeste also liked Victor, but with everything that happened, she felt afraid. She had a fear of being hurt again and she had just met him. And although he seems like a good person, she has her doubts. After all, her daughter could also get hurt, and that terrifies her. She only seeks her daughter's happiness and the ability to have a peaceful life where no one will hurt her again. That's why, at that moment, she had already made the decision to leave with her daughter to her parents' old house where she had never had the chance to go, but it was in her name. So, she just had to get in touch with her parents' lawyer and return to the house where she grew up. And with the money that still remains in her accounts, she just needs to go to the bank and reclaim her life. She appreciates Victor's help, but she is not ready for a relationship. She needs to heal before starting again. That's why she would leave the next day without saying goodbye, because she feared he wouldn't let her go.
