Episode 14

NARRATOR

After the hypnosis session, Irina felt nervous. During the session, she couldn't clearly see who pulled the trigger in her mind, but she does remember her deceased mother lying on the floor, which disturbs her. Now, she has nightmares about that moment and talks in her sleep. Dmitry, who had an appointment to review her case and explore the possibility of surgery, postponed the appointment, along with Irina's second hypnosis session. She was very anxious, and the psychologist recommended postponing it and taking her to a peaceful place for a few days. Later, he would come to conduct the session at the place they chose for Irina's tranquility.

Dmitry took her to a beautiful country house he owned. The place is silent and surrounded by roses and bunnies. Irina loved the place, and being there brings her immense peace. They have been in that house for a week now, and she hasn't had any nightmares. She feels calmer, and that's why the doctor will travel over the weekend for the session to finally unlock and eliminate that memory that silences her.

"How are you feeling today, my queen?" Dmitry asked from his wheelchair.

"Fine, I think I'm ready and will be able to do it," Irina responded from her cellphone.

"I believe in you too," Dmitry embraced her and showered her with kisses.

"I will always take care of you and our child," she hugged him tightly.

He made that comment because he already knows Irina's father's plans and those of her sister. He knows he must protect her. That is another reason why he brought her to the country house. He had to tell his parents, siblings, and grandfather everything. Everyone is willing to help him. While they are in the country house, Victor and the others are making Irina's father and her ex, Steve, miserable. The only way to keep them away is by weakening them. Without money, they won't have power, and without power and money, they won't be able to get close to Irina, which is perfect for them.

In the country house, while Dmitry took his time to call his family and find out how everything is going, Irina sits in the rose field with some rabbits nearby. Initially, the rabbits would run away, but after seeing her frequently, they started to approach. Since she didn't harm them, on the contrary, she left food for them, they began to get closer. However, this time they were scared off by a woman running with her baby in her arms, looking battered.

"Please help me!" the woman pleaded tearfully to Irina, but she couldn't speak, she simply nodded, stood up, and led the woman inside to find Dmitry.

Dmitry, upon seeing that woman, became alarmed, because although she was very beautiful, she was battered and had her baby in her arms.

"What's happening?" Dmitry asked.

"Sir, please help me. I've been kidnapped for a year by a deranged man obsessed with me. He kept me locked up, abused me, beat me mercilessly, and today I managed to escape with my baby. Please, help me," the woman pleaded amidst her tears.

"Take her upstairs, I will notify the guards," Irina nodded and went up with her to one of the rooms, but not before grabbing her phone.

"Thank you," the woman said feeling calmer.

"It's nothing, I'll look for some clothes for you to change and rest. We also need to find things for the baby," Irina said through her phone.

"Can you not speak?" the woman asked surprised.

"No, my name is Irina, and I'm currently in therapy to speak again. That's the reason we are here," explained Irina through her cellphone.

"Being here has saved my life, I will be indebted to you forever. She's Sol, she's three months old, and she's very well-behaved. I'm Celeste," she introduced herself.

"A pleasure to meet you both. I'll get some clothes for you to have a shower," Irina said as she searched for some of her new clothes and handed them to Celeste, who expressed gratitude.

"Could I ask you for the favor of holding Sol while I take a shower?" Celeste asked apologetically.

"Yes, of course. I'm pregnant, so it will be good practice for me," Irina responded.

"Congratulations, Sol is a good girl, she doesn't cry unless she's hungry," Celeste said as she handed the baby to Irina and then went to take a shower.

Irina was happy with the baby, who kept smiling and looking at her. She was such a beautiful girl, resembling her mother. She couldn't understand how someone could be so wicked.

"You will look beautiful as a mother," Dmitry commented as he entered the room and saw Irina holding the baby.

They played with the little one, who quickly fell asleep in Irina's arms. She then laid her down on the bed surrounded by pillows. Celeste came out of the bathroom, looking cleaner now. The bruises on her fair and delicate skin were even more visible. She was a beautiful woman, with a perfect body, black eyes, and hair of the same color. Her face would have been flawless if it weren't for the bruises on it.

"My brother is on his way with a detective and security to get you out of here. Do you have any family members you want to inform?" Dmitry asked.

"No, my parents died a few months before my abduction, and I suppose that's why no one looked for me. I am an only child and always felt lonely," Celeste replied.

"Well, let's go downstairs and have something to eat. The guards are keeping watch in case that man shows up," Dmitry suggested.

"Thank you so much, really. I don't know how to repay you for what you're doing for me, but I will find a way," Celeste expressed her gratitude.

"We'll figure that out later. Let's go eat," the three of them went downstairs and ate. Celeste quickly went back upstairs because she was afraid of leaving the baby alone. The psychologist arrived and upon seeing the situation, decided to do the session the next day when Celeste and her daughter would have already left.

They asked the psychologist

to examine Celeste and talk to her. The doctor concluded that she had been a victim of abuse for some time, and it was only now that she managed to escape. The young woman slept little due to nightmares. Victor arrived in the afternoon with the detective and more security to take the young woman from there and hear her statement.
