Ray is upset, Eric hasn't come home, and it's been three days.

Mario explained that Eric had to take a quick trip, but that he'll be back soon.

Ray is at home talking to his friend Greta and venting his frustration at not being able to talk to Eric, even by phone.

"How could you not know about his sudden trip, Greta?"

"I'm sorry, buddy, but when Eric left the company, he went to meet a client downtown."

Eric goes to the bathroom and takes a shower while thinking about what he's going to do, until he realizes that his rut only lasted three days and Ranielly endured the intensity of it all without flinching.
