Episode 12

After Ranielly reevaluated Gustavo's house project and made some changes, Hyago invited everyone for coffee at a restaurant.

Gustavo was polite and treated Ranielly very well. After talking for a while, Hyago left with Gustavo. Ranielly left too and ordered a taxi through an app, but Eric arrived offering a ride.

"Come on, it won't hurt."

Ranielly: "No, it doesn't seem like a good idea."

Eric: "I just want to be your friend, what's wrong with accepting a ride!" Ranielly got into the car. On the way, Eric noticed that Ranielly was showing symptoms of low hormone levels.

"Are you okay? Your skin is pale."

Ranielly: "I just need to rest."

Ranielly: "No, remember what happened at the hotel? I need to go home."

Ranielly wanted to protest, but the feeling was good and he felt good, so he closed his eyes slowly.

Eric continued to give his pheromones to Ranielly and noticed that he had fallen asleep. In an involuntary movement, he ran his hand through Ranielly's hair.

"You look so fragile. What am I going to do to take care of you two? How am I going to tell everyone that the baby is ours?"

Eric ended up falling asleep in the car.

Some time passed, and Ranielly woke up to see Eric sleeping in the driver's seat. His hair was messy, and Ranielly observed the man who slept peacefully.

His square jaw, the earring he wore on his left ear, the marked jawline, the shade of his dark ash blonde hair, unique, made him even more striking.

Ranielly scolded himself. "What are you doing looking at him like that?"

Eric woke up. "Do you feel better now?"

Ranielly: "Yes, but why are you doing this? What's your interest?"

Eric wanted to tell Ranielly that he was the father, but he felt it wasn't the right time.

"I was wrong to you, and from what I can tell, you're pregnant, and... have you thought about looking for the father of your baby?"

Ranielly was confused. "Why would I look for him? You don't even know how I got pregnant. You probably think I slept with anyone and got pregnant. For your information, I didn't sleep with anyone. I got pregnant because of someone's irresponsibility. And how am I going to find a father I don't even know? Am I supposed to find him and say, 'Hey, I'm expecting a baby and you're the father?'" His tone of voice was altered, and Eric realized that Ranielly was getting nervous and tried to calm him down.

"Stay calm."

Ranielly: "Don't tell me to calm down! Everyone judges and condemns me without even knowing the story, and I don't need you to come at me with your moralistic speech." He opened the car door and got out. Eric went after Ranielly and grabbed his arm.

"Please get back in the car." For some reason unknown to him, Eric felt a pang in his heart.

Ranielly tried to hold back his tears, but it was impossible. Eric didn't know what to say. All he did was hug Ranielly to his chest.

A hug that comforted both of them. Ranielly felt safe and closed his eyes amidst his tears, which refused to stop.

Eric just wanted to hold Ranielly for as long as possible in his arms. "Don't cry. You don't owe anyone anything."

He dried Ranielly's face and said, "I'm sorry for making you feel sad."

Ranielly: "It's not your fault. But it doesn't matter, tomorrow is a new day and despite everything, I have my baby and I'm going to take good care of him."

Eric smiled, and they both got back in the car. When they arrived in front of Ranielly's house, Eric stopped the car and said,

"There's a parenting lecture at the end of the week, do you want to go?"

Ranielly: "Why are you asking me?"

Eric tried to find an excuse and said, "You need to get your mind off things, and like I said, I want to be your friend. Trust me. And if I can help you, I will. After all, such a young professional deserves all the support."

Ranielly: "Send me the location. I'll take a look. And thank you for your help today." He went inside.

Eric got into the car and went to the bar. He called Mario to meet him.

Ray was at home, nervous, talking to Greta.

"I'm worried. The surrogacy thing got out of control and now I don't know what to do, Greta." He told her the whole story.

Greta: "I'm shocked. And what do you plan to do? If I were you, I'd have given him a child and that's it, problem solved."

Ray: "Are you crazy? I don't have the vocation or the desire for that. I love Eric, we have a good life, but to have a child, I would have to give up a lot of things, which means having a mini bloodsucker, and that's not what I want."

Greta: "Well, my friend, then you should have talked to him before you got married."

Ray smiled. "We talked, and he always had this idea that he wants to have a family, so I lied to be with him, but I take medicine regularly to make sure that doesn't happen."

Greta: "Aren't you afraid he'll find out, Ray?"

Ray: "He's crazy about me, and besides, I'm going to find out who the incubator carrying his spawn is. I'll give them a good amount of money, and bam! Happy family."

Greta: "Such confidence, my friend."

Ray: "Have you looked at me? I'm gorgeous and I can drive anyone crazy, and it's no different with Eric. And I must say, he's one of the hottest Alphas I've ever met. Now, I'm going to take a shower and wait for him to come back." He went to the bedroom.

Greta smiled. "And, my friend, I want to see for myself if he's really that hot for you."
