Episode 4

After lunch, Mariana dropped Ranielly off at his internship and went home.

At the internship, Ranielly did his work without looking at Eric too much, as he was embarrassed about what had happened.

Eric, in turn, respected his personal space, because he remembered the night he ran out of Ranielly's house, and especially how he had to relieve the tension with his partner.

Mario informed Ranielly that he would have to undergo some tests, as it was company policy.

After work, he followed Mario to get the tests done at a medical department next to the company.

Eric returned home and received a call that scared him, so he quickly went to find the person who had called.

When he arrived at the restaurant, the doctor was waiting for him.

"Thank you for coming."

Eric: "I was surprised by this unexpected call."

"I'm sorry, but I need to talk to you about the procedure."

Eric felt emotional and said, "Have you confirmed the pregnancy?"

"The thing is, there was a mistake at the hospital, and I'm so sorry for that."

Eric was nervous. "Be clear, doctor."

"Well, the procedure was not performed on the omega who made the contract with you, but on a young virgin who went for a routine check-up."

Eric had the rug pulled out from under him. "How can this be happening?"

"I'm sorry for what happened."

Eric was nervous and said, "Is the other one pregnant?"

"Well, as far as I know, yes, but the doctor disappeared with the young man's data."

Eric: "I'm going to have my people recover the deleted data, and as for that doctor, I'll take care of him myself."

"What do you plan to do? Because even if the young man is pregnant, he could have gotten rid of the child. After all, a young omega who got pregnant while a virgin... the family may have taken some action, and they are within their rights."

Eric clenched his fists. "First, don't tell anyone. I'll take care of this myself, and I'll find this person, and if he's carrying my child, I'll give him whatever amount he wants to give me my child as soon as he's born."

Ranielly got his tests done and went back to work with Mario since Eric didn't go back to the company.

Rhavi entered, bringing juice and slices of pie.

Mario silently observed the boss's brother-in-law.

Rhavi smiled and handed him a juice and a slice of pie. "I saw that you didn't go out for a snack, so I decided to bring you some."

Ranielly took it and thanked him. Rhavi was getting closer and closer to Ranielly, and seeing this, Mario took a stand and said, "You know the company rules, Rhavi."

Rhavi smiled and said, "Of course, I was just being nice."

Mario: "I imagine so. Get back to work."

Rhavi left with a frown on his face.

Mario took a sip of juice and said, "Ranielly, don't trust people too much. Even if you're kind and polite, there are crazy people who might think something more. And another thing, don't trust the boss's brother-in-law under any circumstances. He's a natural charmer, without responsibility or any other trait that shows he's worth the sacrifice."

Ranielly smiled. "Thank you for looking after me, you reminded me of my mother."

Mario smiled and put his hand on the other's shoulder. "You're a young man with a promising future. Don't let one bad choice steer you away from your potential."

Ranielly's eyes welled up with tears and he began to cry, thinking about everything that was happening and wondering if he had made the right decision.

Mario, seeing this, embraced the young man in a brotherly hug and said, "Hey, don't cry, you get emotional easily. Come on, drink some water."

Ranielly calmed down and thanked him. Eric arrived and was puzzled to see Mario close to Ranielly while Ranielly had traces of tears on his face.

"What happened here?"

Mario: "Nothing."

Eric didn't understand, but for some reason he didn't like what he was seeing. He went up to Ranielly, took his hand, and asked, "Are you okay? Did they do something to you? Tell me the truth."

Ranielly could feel the concern in his voice and replied, "Nothing happened, I just got emotional with Mario's advice."

Eric looked at Mario and said, "Who knew."

Mario smiled. "He's very sensitive." They went back to work.

At the end of the workday, Ranielly took a taxi and left.

Eric called Mario in for a chat, told him what had happened at the clinic, and gave him the task of personally taking care of the matter.

Mario: "I'll take care of it, but what do you plan to do?"

Eric: "One step at a time."

Ranielly was at home waiting for his mother so they could talk.

Marisa arrived and noticed her son's concern. She sat down with him and said, "What is it, dear? Are you okay?"

Ranielly: "Mom, I took the company's tests, and you know the labor laws of companies."

Marisa: "Whatever your decision, I'm with you."

Ranielly took his mother's hand and said, "Thank you for your support."

Eric was at home, smoking a cigar on the balcony, thinking about how to deal with this situation that had gotten out of his control.

Ray approached him and kissed his neck. "What's bothering you, my love?"

Eric turned to him and said, "It's nothing."

Ray hugged his neck and said, "Let's take a bath. I'll give you a massage and you'll feel much better." He ran his hand over Eric's body, teasing him.

Eric smiled. "Let's go."
