Episode 16

The poor bodyguards were searching for the Hamster, but it seems to be nowhere to be found. Nicol is crying in despair for her little friend.

Then she runs to the kitchen and looks for carrots.

"Sir, it's difficult, we can't find him," one of the bodyguards informed.

"Don't give me fucking excuses, search for it, damn it!" Scott yells loudly.

"Capuchino, I brought carrots for you, my little friend. Wherever you are, please come out. No one will hurt you. I'm sorry for leaving you alone, please forgive me," she says and places the carrot on the grassy floor.

Scott watches her in silence and then sees the animal emerge from the bushes.

"Capuchino!" Nicol happily exclaims, and the Hamster runs around her before starting to eat the carrots.

The bodyguards breathe deeply.

"So, that's your pet," Scott speaks.

"My father gave it to me, and it's the only thing I have left of him. That's why Capuchino is important to me. I hope it's not a problem that I have him," she says, fixing her gaze on Scott.

"Don't worry, it's not a problem. Just make sure you don't leave him alone," Scott assures her.

She picks up the Hamster and says, "I'm going to prepare lunch."

"I better go," he says, his tone serious, and she lowers her gaze.

"Who are you?" she asks, as she doesn't have much information about Scott.

"Does that matter?" he replies, and she bites her lower lip. "If you ever need anything, you can ask the bodyguards. I'll be leaving."

She is surprised, thinking that perhaps things between them would smooth out after what happened.

Both enter the house for Scott to leave through the main door.

Nicol places the Hamster in its cage.

"Wait!" she musters the courage to say; it was an impulse.

Scott stops.

"Please stay for lunch. I'm your wife, and I haven't treated you as such. Besides, you're not well, and proper nutrition is essential. Can you, please?" she asks in her sweet voice. Scott clenches his jaw. "That way, we can talk a bit more," she adds, and he turns around.

He walks firmly towards her, getting very close, just a few inches away, and says, "I don't want you to get any illusions." He emphasizes it with coldness.

"I feel that beneath that tough man, there's a good-hearted man," she looks into his eyes, and a silence falls.

Scott freezes when he sees Nicol placing her hands on his face, even though she has to stand on tiptoes because he is tall.

"What are you doing?" he asks, looking at her strangely.

She closes her eyes and leans towards Scott's lips. It's a clumsy kiss, innocent and simple because she doesn't know how to kiss. But that kiss stirred Scott Hamilton's hormones.

"Do you want me to lay you on the table and go hard on you?" he asks, and she blushes.

Nicol moves away from Scott and lowers her gaze. In essence, he has a girlfriend, and they both are passionate people. However, he has had women outside of his relationship, and Nicol's innocence stirs impure thoughts in him.

"Look at me," Scott orders, and she obeys. "I can give you anything, money, luxury, a life fit for a queen. But never ask me for love."

"Am I not enough for you?" she nervously asks.

"I can't love you."

"Is someone occupying your heart?" Nicol asks, intrigued.

"Don't ask any more questions. I'll see you later," Scott turns around, feeling a surge of electricity when Nicol grabs his hand and stops him.

"Come back tonight," she requests, and he sighs. Nicol lets go of his hand, and Scott watches as he walks away. Little does she know that her husband is struggling with his feelings for her in such a short amount of time.

Scott leaves the house and receives a phone call.

"What do you want?" Scott speaks arrogantly.

"You need to come home; you have a visitor," Miguel informs.

Scott doesn't like the sound of that at all. He gets into his car and before starting the engine, he looks at the house and sighs.

He drives at high speed, with the words of that young girl, Nicol, swirling in his mind.

"You are a sin, Nicol, a blessed sin."

Arriving at the house, he gets out of his car and enters, his demeanor serious. He looks at Miguel, somewhat concerned.

"What's going on, Miguel? I'm very busy," Scott says, his tone cutting.

"Even for me?" the woman's voice surprises him, he turns around and there she is.

"Alexa, what are you doing here?" he asks, softening his voice.

"Can you give me a few minutes of your time, please? I understand you're busy, Scott, but we need to talk" she pleads in a voice of desperation.

"I can't accept that you're here, I made it very clear to you. Why are you so stubborn?" Scott glares at her.

"Miguel, please, leave us alone" Alex orders, and Miguel looks at Scott, who signals his approval.

They are left alone, and Alex approaches Scott.

"Don't push me away, it's not fair, darling. We have been together for so many years, why distance myself from you? A love as sincere as ours should endure both good and bad times. You know I love you and I would do anything for you, Scott. I don't care what we have to face, I want to be by your side, my place is here with you. I know what you're going through, and I won't leave.
