Carmen, beaming with a smile, extends her hand to greet Scott, but all he does is look at her, with his glasses and an icy expression, scaring her.

She slowly withdraws her hand when she realizes he didn't greet her.

"He's my boss, he came personally to ensure the girl is pure," Miguel speaks up.

"It's a complete hoax, let's talk numbers first. Don't think you're smarter than me," Carmen strikes a seductive pose, which Scott finds pathetic.

"We're honest men," Miguel says, aware that Scott is growing impatient and dislikes wasting time.

"I don't think you're honest men when you want to purchase a virgin, but alright," Carmen smiles. "Let me go get her as she's getting ready. Would you like something to drink?"

"Thank you! The sooner we can see the girl, the better."

Upon hearing Miguel's words, Carmen walks away, and when she enters the room, Nicol is struggling to lower her dress because it is too short.

"What are you doing, you idiot? Move, they're waiting for you," Carmen scolds her.

"Why do you say that?" Nicol asks nervously.

"Just move your butt. I hope you behave well and don't make any faces. Understood?"

When Carmen opens the door, she sees Miguel outside and gets frightened, immediately preventing Nicol from leaving and closing the door.

"Why are you here? I thought..."

"You don't think anything!" Scott finally speaks up sternly.

"My boss doesn't want the girl to see him. He ordered to turn off the lights in the room before he enters alone," Miguel commands.

"But that wasn't the agreement," Carmen hastily responds.

"I make the rules!" Scott arrogantly declares.

Carmen swallows and then opens the door slightly, turning off the lights.

"You better behave," Carmen scolds her.

Nicol remains silent, too frightened, and all she can see is Carmen turning off the lights, followed by a tall man entering and closing the door.

She retreats in fear as her hands begin to tremble.

Scott approaches her, and she finds herself cornered against the wall.

"Please, sir, please don't hurt me," she pleads, her sweet voice echoing in Scott's mind.

He pays no attention and instead leans closer to Nicol's neck, hearing her slow fearful breaths and catching a whiff of her vanilla-scented hair.

"Please, sir..." she pleads, feeling him close and starting to cry. This causes Scott to step aside. The man begins to cough, trying to calm himself, and then leaves the room in a great irritation. Outside, Miguel and Carmen wait anxiously.

"Well?" Miguel asks.

"Are you kidding me? That girl isn't even willing to please me," Scott says angrily before leaving.

"Wait, sir, let me talk to her. Just give me a few minutes," Carmen asks, causing Scott to pause. She quickly enters Nicol's room, which is completely dark. Carmen turns on the light and sees how afraid Nicol is.

"Carmen, please don't let that man harm me," Nicol starts crying, and Carmen slaps her hard. She had never raised a hand against Nicol, never, and it was too much for her.

Carmen grabs her by the hair and says, impatiently,

"Listen carefully, that man is going to give me a lot of money for you. You'll be his wife and you'll go with him."

"No, nooo Carmen, I don't want to," Nicol cries.

"Whether you want to or not, you'll have to do it because I'm going on a trip, and there won't be anyone to take care of you."

"I can take care of myself, and I'll stay here at home," Nicol hurriedly says.

"Don't be stupid, Nicol. I've already sold this house, and you have nowhere to go. At least that man will take care of you."

Nicol falls to her knees.

"Please, take me with you, Carmen. You're all I have, please."

Impatiently, Carmen grabs her by the hair and says,

"If you don't do what that man asks of you, I'll kill that damn hamster."

"No, nooo," Nicol cries.
