It was not a nice evening but one thing that was good is my brother he looked stunning in his fabulous sky blue colour suit with a bell bottom pants and his dirty blonde hair. Which were not too long but touched his nape with the messy flair and the best part was his emerald eyes which shines so brightly that every human would look his way to admire him.

The moment when my brother and I entered the ballroom, all the eyes were on us. I could feel the whole room turning silent the moment we entered, which was understandable because many supernatural fears us, some admire us but all of them have one thing in common. They all hate it when human gets involved in their world affairs, the only way for them to enter is to become one of them. To become a supernatural, one must have the will to leave everything they love behind, as it will only be a hindrance.

Everyone in the ball had this smile on their face which will make anyone feel welcome, but behind the smiling mask they hid their desire of destruction and lust for blood. Most of these people in this ball wants to earn my father's acknowledgement because if someone as great as him approves of you then you will be able to enter the elite circle of noble vampire, werewolf etc. My brother, who is naive and doesn't know about the world of supernatural. He cannot understand that every other person in this party is looking down on him or mocking him. I can feel their eyes of hatred towards him. The way they look down on him simply because he is human.

I need to stay by his side so that I can protect him from all these greedy people who are eyeing on him just to get close to my father or wants to take advantage of him. As the people flooded towards me and started greeting me, I lost the track of Alex. The movement I noticed that he is gone, everything around me became blur, I could feel my heart racing and blood surging in my veins. I wanted to kill everyone around me, that is when I snapped out and used my ability of sharp hearing to find him.

I focused to hear as far as I could, then I heard Alex shouting “let go of him you cannot do that !!” I rushed as fast as I could, the voices were coming from the garden. The moment I burst open through the door, I saw a guy with a huge scar on his face grabbing Alex by the collar. I immediately separated Alex and that guy.

The moment I saw Alex being grabbed by the collar, I wanted to rip out that guy's heart. I had to control my self because I did not want Alex to see the unsightly image of me covered in blood, I did not want to scare him. As I knew it, he will become scared and hate me, even the thought of my brother hating me rips me apart.

I calmed my anger as I spoke to that person with scare. I asked him what happened, but instead he pushed me because of which I fell on the ground, but I endured it because I don't want to be the bad guy who bullies the weak.
