A True Gamer

Int. Dark Room - Night

We open up on a close-up of a gamer's hands as they grip a controller tightly. The room is dark except for the glow of the Monitor's illuminating the gamer's face. We hear intense sounds of gunfire and explosions coming from the game.

GAMER (voice over)

"Come on, Come on. I need that power-up."

Cut to a wider shot of the gamer sitting on a couch in the front of the Monitor. We see that the room is cluttered with empty soda cans, food wrappers, and various gaming paraphernalia. The gamer's eyes are glued to the Monitor's screen.

GAMER (voice over)

"Yes! Got it."

Suddenly, the sound of the gunfire and explosions stops. The screen goes black.

GAMER

"What the hell?"

The Gamer looks confused for a moment, then suddenly the surrounding room begins to glitch and pixelate. The gamer looks around in panic as the glitching intensifies.

Gamer

"What is happening?"

Suddenly, the gamer is transported into the game world. He finds himself in the middle of a war zone, surrounded by the enemy soldiers. He looks down and realizes that he is holding a gun.

Gamer

"Holy shit !"

Suddenly the gamer sees an enemy aiming to fire at him. He starts firing at the enemy soldiers to save his life, taking cover behind nearby obstacles. As he fights, he realizes that he is actually good at this. He's not just playing a game anymore, he's IN it.

Gamer

"This is Freaking Insane!!! I am loving this!!!"

As the battle rages on, the gamer becomes more and more immersed in the game. He forgets that he is a player and begins to feel like a real soldier. Finally, he emerges victorious, the last enemy soldier falling on the ground.

Gamer

"I did it!!!"

Suddenly, the gamer is transported back to his gaming room. He blinks, disoriented, and looks around. The room is back to normal. He looks down at the controller in his hands and then at the monitor's screen. The screen was showing "Congrats you won the game, and now are being transported back."

Gamer (voice over)

"That was the most intense gaming experience I have ever had in my entire Life!!!!!"

"It was like I was in the game! Was it a dream or......."

"But anyway I just am too confused right now and am unable to think clearly."

"I just can't express it in words how I am feeling!!!!!"

"Damn!!!! The hell was that!!!!!! I am just too confused. I-I Can't JUST express it. FU*K!!!!!!"

"I am getting mad...oh sh*t...I-I what was that?????"

"I want to know what it was, I can't just let it slip through it like that...(Pass outs)"

(Wakes Up)

The gamer grins, feeling rush of adrenaline. He picks up a canf soda and takes a swig.

Gamer (voice over)

"I can't wait to do it again!!!!"
