Upon riding it, it felt smooth. He handled it well.
"Wow, so this is what it's like to ride this bike, such a thrilling experience," Ferzo exclaimed, nodding happily.
Now that Ferzo owned a motorcycle, he intended to sell his broken bicycle. He traversed the street, looking for a place that bought second-hand bikes.
Eventually, he arrived at a place, a specialized bicycle workshop. He entered the yard of the workshop. There, he saw several people repairing a large number of bicycles.
"Excuse me, sir, would you be interested in buying my bike?" Ferzo asked one of the workers there.
"Let's take a look at your bike," said the worker. Ferzo fetched his bicycle and placed it in front of the worker.
"Hmm… this looks pretty new, doesn't it? The paint still shines, but why is it broken?" the worker inquired.
"Some vandals with nothing better to do damaged it," responded Ferzo.
"I better call the owner first," said the worker, taking out his phone to call his boss. Ferzo sat on a chair provided, seeming like they accepted broken bikes, repaired them, and then sold them.
"Just a moment, the boss will be here soon," the worker continued with his tasks.
"Okay," nodded Ferzo. He watched the workers as they repaired the bikes, some were hammering, painting to make them look new, fixing the chains, and so on.
Before long, the workshop owner arrived on his motorbike.
"Where's the bike you want to sell?" the owner asked.
"There, boss, he's the owner," the employee pointed to Ferzo.
"Oh you, why do you want to sell it?" the owner inquired, examining Ferzo's bicycle.
"It's broken, plus I already have a motorcycle," Ferzo answered honestly. The owner of the workshop examined Ferzo's bicycle.
"It's obviously quite new. Had the rim not been bent, it might fetch a higher price. Are you sure you want to sell it rather than have it repaired?" the owner questioned.
"Yes, I just want to sell it," Ferzo nodded confidently.
"Alright then, I would estimate its price at about 3 million, is that acceptable for you?" the owner confirmed.
"Yes, that's fine, sir."
"Alright, wait here for a moment," said the shop owner, heading back inside the workshop.
"Please give me 3 million," he requested from his daughter, who worked at the cashier desk.
The daughter, a university student, took the money and handed it to her father.
The shop owner approached Ferzo and handed him the money.
"Thank you, sir," said Ferzo upon receiving the money.
"You're welcome," the owner nodded, and Ferzo left the workshop.
"That boy must have ruined his bicycle just to get himself a new motorcycle," the workshop owner shook his head, musing.
"Hmm… what should I buy with this money? Money from Yun is 3 million, the bike sale is 3 million; together, it's 6 million," Ferzo pondered, looking around as he walked.
Engrossed in his thoughts, he arrived at a place, a pet shop.
"Wow, what if I just got a pet for company, since it seems like no one wants to be my friend," Ferzo reflected, watching the animals running here and there, trying to get out of their cages.
Ferzo approached the animals and browsed to see which one might be suitable to have as a pet.
"What pet would you like, kid? A bird? Rabbit? Angora cat? Dog? Pigeon? Hamster? Turtle? Frog? Chicken? Sparrow? Duck? Squirrel? Snake? Iguana?" the pet seller asked.
"How much for the dog?" Ferzo inquired, pointing at a small and cute dog.
"This one's 2 million," the seller replied.
"And that cat?" Ferzo pointed at a fluffy orange cat.
