Prologue + chapter 1.

This novel might not be the best read you might have, but it will be interesting at least. and if you haven't read the description, just know that this is me and my friend's first time writing a novel, and we also made this just for fun ^^.

The names of the characters are;

MC Number 1

Name: Bennett Davidson

Age: 28

Profession: Detective

Personality: Quiet, moody, serious.

MC Number 2

Name: Kyle Peterson

Age: 29

Profession: Police officer/ From the Military

Personality: Humorous, happy, loud.

In this novel, they explore through a cave where people who have entered, never made it out. Which is why they're exploring it!

[CHAPTER 1: "A Bright Morning."]

Someone knocks on the door of Bennett's office..

"Come in..." Bennett said, still working on his duties.

His friend, Kyle Peterson opens the door with joy, bringing his dear friend his food.

"HEY BUDDY! I got your Shinazo Ramen, from your favorite ramen place!" Kyle said with a happy and excited tone.

"Kyle, I Appreciate it, but Im a bit busy right now, Can you be a bit more quiet?" Bennett replied, being more stressed than usual..

Kyle quiets down, seeing how Bennett might be really busy.

Kyle clears his throat, "Yes sorry. Anyways, whats up? Do you need my help on some cases or anything?"

Bennett backs away from his desk, hand in phone with a stern and worried face. "Right now... I'm focusing on the Cajoler Cases.

I have No leads, No Clues, No nothing. All the people I sent haven't came back yet. It's been a week and its starting to get more worrying..."

After hearing that reply, he knew something really was wrong with that cave. " You need my help don't you..? I can come over there with you just in case."

Bennett Looks up at Kyle with a more "relaxed" face, hearing how he might actually need Kyle's help during his mission. "Yeah, ok need all the help i can get. Can you send in your team? We might need more people.."

Kyle faces Bennett with a sad look

"No can do, most of them are on vacation or got injured from a bank robbery that had happened a week ago, those criminals had guns and somehow managed to shoot most of the team members sent there.

They're still recovering."

"Ding!"

[1 NEW MESSAGE!]

Bennett looks at his phone and reads it aloud.

"The message says, help."

Bennett puts his phone on his desk and covers his face with his hands.. "Thats, a bit unnerving, random too..."

Kyle leans in over Bennett's shoulder, "Mhm, its a bit weird."

Kyle backs up and puts his hands on his waist, "Well... if you need any help just call me or text me."

Bennett looks back at Kyle with an even more tired face "Yeah alright, See you Kyle."

Kyle leaves and closes the door.

Bennett looks back at his phone, reading the message once more. "Huh, The person that sent me this message was the guy I sent to the cave a week ago..."

"I Should check it out tomorrow, myself this time." Bennett says, thinking more about that cursed cave.
