The Job

Things were working good for the family and the childrens also started to make money and used that money for their savings. They were making money enough to keep themselves happy and the fact that they were making money kept them going. After the school they used to work with all their heart and used to come late. One day Leela asked them, "Why are you both getting late everyday?". After hearing the question they both were silent as if their crime was now caught. Leela asked again and this time in a bold tone. As they both were scared to answer Parth made a move and answered, "We were having extra classes". Krish was just looking at the Parth and still didn't utter a word. After hearing the answer from Parth, Leela was relaxed and hugged both childrens with love and affection.

This was the first time that Parth lied but he thought that lying for this matter was not wrong. They were scared and excited at the same time. Having some ongoing conversation within themselves they both went to sleep. Ajay also came home and was having words with Leela about the struggle to earn money. They had a long way from sleeping on the footpath to having a rented roof on the top. They were now a step ahead and became a middle class family from a poor family. Ajay was solely dependent on his job and while he was talking with Leela, Krish and Parth were also listening to them. The struggle was still there and now it was to be a rich family. This leap is the toughest leap and requires a lot of struggle and understanding.

So after hearing the conversation of Ajay and Leela, childrens thought that the money they were making were very very less. So now they must do something to make more money. At this point, they were only thinking about money as if money is the only thing to live this life for. They thought many things and found nothing so they continued with the same work after the school. Days were passing and the inflation was rising. The stress of surviving was at the top of this family. Instead of becoming rich they were able to visualize themselves to be a poor family soon. The biggest twist came when one day Ajay went for work and he was fired. The reason given to him was that the owner is not having enough money to pay his employees and hence he needs to fire some of his employees. After hearing this he just fell down on the floor with a blank state of mind. Other employees picked him up and gave him water. As he felt a bit better he just ran out and started searching for the job everywhere in the city. He searched almost everywhere but was not able to find a job paying him enough to just give his family two meals a day. Everything was shattered. He had never assumed in his wildest dreams that something like this can ever happen to him.

But life happened.
