Daisuke has older twin siblings - Asahi (the married one) and Shuota. They are of same year as Dimitri (1 year senior of Daisuke.)

Daisuke worked for and year after getting his license of Attorney but left because he had a case of a rich CEO who molested a secretary at work. He couldn’t bear himself do the injustice and left the firm. His mother, Watanabe Sakura (née Ito) was the one who supported his decision and funded him his expenses till he was stable enough in his literary career.
