4.Mistake

"..Troy..Wake up.. wake up." I heard mom's voice. Again. I could have sworn I had just slept like ten minutes ago . " Can't I sleep peacefully around here" I complained in a sleepy voice . " No you can not.. " she paused

" ..but after graduation you can " she added with an annoying chuckle. " Don't be late for school. " she said again and stood up to leave my room.

After doing all that was needed and dressing up. I went downstairs .

" Wow..so smart " mom said as soon as she saw me coming down the stairs.

" What made you dress up early today ? " she asked me surprised.

" Ah. . . I have to get to class early ." I replied to her sitting down to take my breakfast .

" Well. . . someone is becoming responsible" she said sarcastically smiling at me . I didn't reply to her comment deep down the only reason I wanted to go to school early was to get a chance to meet that girl. Tess. S.

I ate my breakfast then went back to my room packed a few books I wouldn't need and didn't forget the pink book it was going to be my first. . . well it was going to help me, somehow. I picked up my bag swiftly and hugged mom goodbye.

" Bye Troy " she said fixing my hair with her hands . I got out of the house and head to school.

I reached the school gate at exactly 7:00a.m.

At the gate there was a clock so I looked at it and hoped to meet her again. I entered inside the school and started looking around but no sign of her I was specifically looking for the girl with an earing and a purple pinkish bag, long slender legs and perfect shape, pretty stupid right, the day before I didn't get a good look at her but I could recognise her, I think.

Most students were just arriving so it was a bit crowded around there .

I continued looking around.

And then I saw her, not clearly she was ahead of me her purple pinkish bag stood out. I was about to ran after her when.

" Bro wait up " I had a familiar voice calling me . I turned to look and it was Jerome. I wanted to just smile at him and then ran after that girl Tess but I needed friends. So I stopped " Hey you're are early today " I said.

" Yeah and I don't like it. " he said and smiled.

" Anyway it's not me it's her I had to bring her so " he said pointing at the girl behind him.

My heart stopped for a second and then it beat real first. I felt weak in the knees, it was as if my nose would bleed anytime. It was her. . . long slender legs, black hair, a slender body, chocolate skin and cute juicy red lips. she looked beautiful. gorgeous. And not to mention the school uniform complemented her beauty the white blouse, the checked blue and black below the knee skirt which revealed those beautifully shaped smooth legs, the bow tie making her look elegant. The lolipop she had in her mouth making her look. . . well try to relate.

Our eyes locked and ****. . . I lost track of time. She was the girl in the rain. Tess.

" You're. . . " Jerome cut me off.

"Oh. . . she's my sister. Jenny " he brought me back to reality. I was confused, she was a dime, she looked nothing like Jerome.

I said " Jenny ? " not sure I had heard well he might have meant Tess.

" Yeah I told you about her, remember " he said and I kept looking at Jenny then at Jerome no way. I'm pretty sure it was her, the girl in the rain.

" Hey " she removed the red lolipop from her mother and waved at me. I think I overlooked.

" Oh hey. Jenny " I said and stretched out my hand.

" Okay. . . this is my friend Troy. Troy she is my sister Jenny." Jerome said and pulled my hand away. It was an awkward moment.

Something about her eyes.

They were captivating. Grabbing all the attention out of me.

Was my mind playing tricks on me. I'm pretty sure it was her. What about the girl I saw with the purple pinkish bag I didn't see her well but maybe it's her and not Jerome's sister must be a mistake. I cleared my mind.

We started moving neither of us said a word all the way until we reached the hall and Jerome said . " Let me take my sister to her class you to ahead to class I will catch up " he took the other direction his sister following him. She looked at me and I was sure if she wasn't the girl in the rain I had seen her somewhere, she looked farmiliar. I remembered Jerome had showed me a pic of his family he keeps in the wallet the previous day. Oh that must be it I saw her there, my mind must have replaced the unclear image of the girl in the rain with Jenny.

I got back to my mission of finding Tess.

She would've recognized me.

I kept on telling myself after Jenny and Jerome went away. But what if she didn't see you, she did.

I kept asking and answering myself.

Then I saw the girl I had seen earlier, the one with the purple pinkish bag. I rushed and caught up with her.

" Hey " I said right behind her. It was her. It must be her it had to be her. She had the sparkly earrings on.

She turned and damn she was gorgeous dangerously hot, small pointy nose, dimpled smile small pink lips brownish yellow skin and she looked a bit like Spice Daina. Well you may not know her but she's a hot musician. So this girl was hot too.

" Hey " she said with the widest and brightest smile I have ever received from any girl. Or maybe the only one.

I just continued looking at her, secretly looking for any flaw, she had non.

" Sorry I didn't talk to you yesterday " she said.

I was shocked. It was her, all doubts aside now.

" No it's okay. . . Your Tess right " I said just to make sure it was her.

" Hhmm " it was her " Troy, right " she said clutching her bag.

I was surprised again. My expression screamed a big how.

" Let's just say I made a little research " she winked at me and smiled.

Before I could say anything she said.

" Anyway see you in class Troy " she said and caught up with another girl thinner compared to the her a bit taller than Tess.
