Chapter 1 First Subordinate and Call

Finishing creating my avatar, I see it's almost similar to my face if I didn't try to look at the mirror to see. I probably would have doubted it has the same similarities as my face.

"As much as I don't want to be a narcist, Am I that handsome?" I said whispering to my own avatar's face as it lay still with raised eyebrows and disbelief.

"Well, it was unexpected," I said then pressed the finish appearance button.

Slowly the avatar morphs with my conscience thus becoming one with it, checking my avatar body it was equipped with a basic outfit for villager clothing along with some fork and hoe equipment in personal storage.

"Well, this is something," I said smiling and looking at the fire pit in front of me while raising both of my hands in front of it.

"My hand looks real enough for something that is made with VR with an incorporated reality engine," I said in surprise and marveled.

"That's something, I can feel the warmth of the fire," I said then shook my head in amazement while smiling at the feeling.

"Even so it's felt terrifying at the same time, I can't imagine if I got hurt in here... Would it feel painful or just sting" I said in a bit of frightful thought.

"Now... How do I summon new villagers though?" I thought for a moment.

Suddenly after I said that a pop-up appeared from the upper left corner of my vision, I was surprised at first but after carefully having a look at it.

"Well, yes," I said while pressing the yes button.

A minute after that the message that was in front of my vision changed form into a small ball of light as it flew above the fireplace then slowly changed into a purple summoning gate.

A minute later, from the mouth of the summoning gate, two white balls flew out from it along with one certain yellow ball flying. all of it landed on the ground near the gate and slowly disappeared.

The glowing balls slowly morph into a human figure as their appearance is that of two males and one female, they look young around 18 years old young people and they look happy to see me.

"Hello, Are you the young master whom we will be serving?" the three of them said at the same time.

I look at them a bit curious as I look at the appearance of the two Young men and the young woman in front of me, they have almost the same similarity to my Avatar's appearance and skin tone.

"It could be the system made a copy of my avatar's characteristics and then made it my follower, it's possible though," I said to myself.

The three of them could only look at me in confusion but didn't dare to ask about it as they were waiting for my command.

Skill and job status then popped out from the top of their head as they flew in front of me with their name stated inside of the status window.

"As expected, it's quite a good skill," I said smiling at their skill status.

"It's an honor to hear you praise us, young lord," Jono said as he lightly bowed.

"Young master, It's not something that great we are just simple villagers who came to your call," Melati said nervously as she put her hands on her chest.

"Yeah, we came to you on our initiative since it was your call," Bambang said with a wide smile.

After the three of them said what was on their mind, I got a notification, that appeared directly in front of my eye.

"Anyway, you guys know your job, right?" I said to them staring at them in turn.

"Yes, My lord... All of us know our task, but we may help out with anything outside our work if you want us to as long it's within our capability" answered Jono as he lowered a bit of his head towards you.

"Yes, we can at least help out with a few things but we are at least willing to do it for you young lord," said Melati with a smile.

"Just say the word, and where do the rest," Said Bambang as he pumped out his hand muscle in excitement then flexed on it.

I shook my head around a couple of times as I smiled lightly before turning back at them.

"Well, let's start setting up the place with daily need necessities, shall we?" I said looking at them.

All three of them raised their hands in an Energized atmosphere as they set out to do their own set of work Bambang walked to a nearby tree and cut it down while Melati walked near the fireplace and started pulling out the tent from the domain storage along with some pots as she quickly set up the campsite for the existing villager with your tent the largest of the group in the middle of the place.

Jono who is a hunter quickly goes to the forest to hunt some wild beasts in the hope better night's dinner and also gathers some herbs, mushrooms, and nuts either for medication or seasoning. Half a day has passed and the place that has the eternal fireplace now is outfitted with a tent and some storage tent close to your sleeping tent.

"Everything is ready, young lord. I already finished setting up the tent," said Melati as she lightly bowed.

"I already cut some trees for the house or anything you would like to build, but I recommend we wait until tomorrow since we don't have a carpenter to process anything wood-related. I can make it but the quality would be bad" Bambang said as he smiled wryly and nervously at me.

"Well, true I saw you made one before it looks so bad that I thought it was trash," said Melati as she smiled mischievously.

"That's not true" Bambang replied as he blushed after hearing that bit.

"Well, how nice the two of you to tease each other as that sounds like a pair of love birds" Jono appeared behind the two of them and put the result of the hunt to the ground near Melati.

"I got a couple of birds and a boar for dinner" as he continues talking and then walks to a chair near the fireplace.

"Ah, yeah," Melati said a bit surprised she crouched over to the result of the hunts and looked over it.

"This... You're that good, Jono" Melati said in a surprised tone "I wasn't expecting this much from a single hunt" she added before giggling.

"It's not really because I'm that good... Probably it's caused by the work-related skill that caused me to be that good. Usually, I'm not that great though" Jono says as he scratches his cheeks in uneasiness.

"Even though it's too much for us to eat in a single day, we can make some snacks or meals for tomorrow with this," says Melati as she pulls a kitchen knife from her pocket and then cuts the meat into portions.

Finish cutting it, She puts the meat portion into the cooking pot and stirs it around with the ladle while Joko and the others have a small chat as they wait until the food is ready.

Melati had a bit of taste of the soup as she felt it was a bit lacking thus she added more season to it and then continued to stir it until the food was mixed well, feeling the food done she quickly held a wooden bowl then poured the finished soup with fresh cut meat on it.

The entire group ate the soup with vigor as the taste was something to behold, Melati's way of processing food was remarkable even though she just used a simple seasoning for it.

The group ate their meal differently, I was a bit surprised by the taste but ate normally as it was

Quite delicious. Joko ate it like he had tasted it before but his face was like he was enjoying it.

Bambang's act made both of me and Melati look at him dumbfounded and it was quite a look since Bambang ate with vigor, it's probably because his taste bud was quite satisfied by it.

Feeling full after eating and having our fill for the four of us as we stayed around on our chairs, we chatted lightly and laughed a bit. all four of us then stood with Bambang and Jono walked into their tent, and slept quickly as it was a tiresome day for them.

I and Melati went into the nearby forest and we washed the finished wooden bowl together, we were silent as it was a calm night before she started talking first.

"Young lord, thank you for summoning us even though it doesn't meet your requirements. You were very kind to us" she said without glancing at me while I did give a glance at her.

"It's fine... I wasn't expecting that much from all of you, It's still something normal for new people" I smile while washing the bowl and putting it to the side before turning my head towards her.

Both of us then bring back the utensil along and clean up the tent before going to our own set of tents, arriving at my tent I look around and find it is quite too big enough for me to sleep on but because of my status as the leader of the group.

"Even if I want to share it they would refuse such an offer since they are very loyal to me... Even though we just met" I said sighing in frustration.

I just noticed that my clothes were in sweat after helping Melati out, I quickly took off my clothes and put them on the side of the bed so they dry up as I lay down on the bed closing my eyes and at the same time I log off from the game and making my avatar into the deep-sleep state.

Slowly my consciousness was pulled from my avatar and turned into blue light leaving it while I returned to the real world as it was already morning and ready for my real life.
